The V3 Cream Blues are my favourite tactile switch, not just budget tactile switch, tactile switch period! The V3 Cream Yellows are a very nice budget linear, but have stiff competition from the Gateron Yellow line up. Also great though.

For those wondering: AKKO SPR 67 (65%) - Spring Mount (actual springs from 120g - 170g and 230g to choose from if I'm not mistaken).

wow i am a big fan of blue tactile but the yellow linear hit different. they both sound similiar, i think it is the lube that is giving it the creamy buttery sound i am looking for. thank you so much for this video. i am on the hunt for my next keyboard and i think its coming down to switches for me. never considered variants of red, brown, blue like yellow but i am now. @@OhhTheHorrah Very different for this board, with this board it's more similar to maglev, it's 5 springs at the bottom that lifts the entire pcb not the usual spring leaves

yep notices this, the yellows have a more "creamy" sound while the blue's combine "creamy" with a tiny bit of "pop" both really nice tbh

I suggest using a shock mount or maybe using a stand mic holder, I keep hearing the table rumble lol

I have a question, do the yellow switches feels like when you're using the red switches, but it's yellow and sounds better? Another question is do the creamy blue switches feels like you're using brown switches but in blue and sound better?
At the very basic level you're correct. Cream Yellow shares some linear traits with Cherry reds and Cream blue share tactile traits with Browns, but there are definitely a lot of variables inside switches which really can make them a lot different from those mentioned "role models".

The linear ones just sound so much better to me I just don’t like the muffled sound
The blues are proof that tactiles still take the dub. Even people who love clickys love tactile bc clicky is tactile. Cant beat tactiles

Lol this is the only time I liked blue switches
The cream blues sound a tiny bit scratchy as for the yellows barely sound scratchy so at this point it is just a fight between tactile and linear gang

The original V3's don't come factory lubed (or they didn't). The V3 Pros come factory lubed.
