I love these your tutorials. There is excellent instruction, but the best part is your delight in creating. I get such a kick out of your asides and your laughter as you consider such things as the meal you will serve on your new placemats. Delightful! I always come away from watching with a smile on my face; you are spreading joy! Than you from Upstate New York!

Re-organizing my fabric, found lots of hearts and valentine. Plan to spend my sewing time on these delightful placemats. Perfect for my daughter and grand daughter with matching napkins of course. Thank you.

Got lovely blue eyes for sure and seems to be a gentle guy, the kind that are not too much around. Very nice placemat and nice to see men sewing.

Love your tutorials. Always very clear instructions and great projects. The “backing out”method is absolutely brilliant! I can never make the edge look clean when turning a project in the traditional way. Thanks for the instruction, and I look forward to more tutorials from you.

I like the ideal of leaving the backing fabric open to turn. Nice placemats and tutorial.

You teach me something new every video! I thought, "Not this time -- placemats. What could be new?" Utterly brilliant backing method, and just in time for the 8 placemats and table runner I am making for SIL. Thank you, thank you! I was dreading doing those, but this will make them look far more professional, and no doubt easier! Bravo!

Greetings from Northampton. One of the reasons I've never used the bagging out method is the side opening . I love your solution by putting the turning opening on the back. Here's to my first bagging out project . Thank you.
