“Beginner” niche are some of the best ones in my opinion. Different enough from designer, but not too out there like some niche perfumes that literally smell like hay.
Not an gourmand fan so most of this aren't for me but I love the Byredo inclusion at the end! Also happy about the Eau Duelle mention. It's my favorite scent from Diptyque. I'd love to see a video if you have other green vanillas in your collection or perfumes similar to Eau Duelle. Love your content! Thanks!
Hey!! I got the bold sample set from Commodity and I fell in love with Milk and Gold!! Definitely full bottle worthy!! Ever since I won the Note Vanille bottle from you, I loved it so much I blind bought Watch and Mon Parfum Cristal lol!! I LOVE them all!! Micallef has some great gems!! I’m on a no-buy right now until the end of the year!!! We’ll see how long that lasts 🙄🙄🤣

LUV the way you present info especially since fragcom- especially the more niche side of things- isnt the most accessible and ppl can borderline come off ass elitist or snooty.
I found Rosendo 5 so interesting. It did, however, come off pretty rubbery off my skin especially in the open. I give caution with this one and def recommend trying before buying. It settled down and became more bearable but i was turned off by that accord.
In the morning i love to sport smelling like Clean reserve Skin & later in the day i want to smell like Rosendo Mateu 5.. they do have the same vibe! Oeh and maybe in the evening i will go for Initio Side effect. Like they are the same person, with different goals 😉.
I got a sample of hibiscus mahajad and it has such a pretty opening but the dry down is yucky and medicinal on me 🥲 Ive recently found out that designer vanillas tend to give me headaches and most niche vanillas dont? I used to avoid vanillas like the plague but after a few vanilla based Killians and falling head over heels with Cassili I can totally see the value in niche fragrances!

To my nose, Ylang is Gold and Rosendo mateu no 5 smell very similar. I love them both ❤ I also pine after Loubirouge 😅 I have never found a spicy perfume that I really loved but it makes me feel a certain way ❤

Hi! I’ve tried it, it’s lovely! It gives me Prada La Femme vibes without smelling like it, but it’s a creamy, sweetened floral scent in that overall category. Creamy vanilla, ylang ylang, some other florals, and clementine at the top. A touch of a gourmand quality without being a gourmand. People say this is an orange creamsicle and I get that, but not so obviously. It’s not straight up that. It’s a perfume with that touch. I might get a bottle after I run out of Prada La Femme :)

When it comes to perfume, I love toned down, very airy (cloud-like), soft-smelling fruity (pears, pomegranate, watermelon, blackberry, etc) - but not overly sweet, but a good balance. I also love tea, vanilla, salty, aquatic and a little citrusy, or floral. My major problem is I cannot stand musky, smoky, woody, and powdery base when most perfumes dry down. I am very sensitive to smell, and it does affect me negatively, to the point where it is sometimes hard to breathe in the perfume. I need your help. Could you please recommend a perfume for me and others with similar issues? Thank you very much in advance.

That one is lovely!! I’m super picky with tiare, although I think the note itself is very pretty, it often comes off “suntan lotion” on me. I put it in my “revisit” bin to go back to one day 😝 it’s quite pretty!

Gypsy Water lasts around 4 hours on me, Bal D’Afrique actually around 7! For a discount, they really aren’t sold on discount sites so I’d recommend a reputable seller on Mercari :)

Highly Highly disappointed I got amber rouge by orientica with your recommendation and I found it smelling like burnt plastic on my skin and on clothes. It is so weak that I cannot smell after 5 mins of application. In order to smell I have to burry my nose on my skin and still can't really smell. It has no silage, no projection. People around me weren't able to smell it even from 5 cm. I feel like I have wasted my money. I really likes you and your videos but now I feel like you are misleading others.
If you actually watched my videos, it would be abundantly clear that the last thing I do is mislead. I have an entire series where I review PR that didn’t work out for me, a series on my unfiltered opinions reviewing popular fragrances, and even in sponsored videos, I mention if I didn’t like a certain perfume. You have to understand that perfumes are incredibly subjective. People have different noses, different skin, different tastes, are anosmic to some, and you are not going to interpret every single perfume the way I do, which is why I am constantly advocating for sampling first. I have received a lot of feedback of people loving this perfume as well. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you, but I get a completely different experience out of it, and I share exactly what I get.

Highly Highly disappointed
I got amber rouge by orientica with your recommendation and I found it smelling like burnt plastic on my skin and on clothes. It is so weak that I cannot smell after 5 mins of application. In order to smell I have to burry my nose on my skin and still can't really smell. It has no silage, no projection. People around me weren't able to smell it even from 5 cm. I feel like I have wasted my money. I really likes you and your videos but now I feel like you are misleading others.
If you actually watched my videos, it would be abundantly clear that the last thing I do is mislead. I have an entire series where I review PR that didn’t work out for me, a series on my unfiltered opinions reviewing popular fragrances, and even in sponsored videos, I mention if I didn’t like a certain perfume. You have to understand that perfumes are incredibly subjective. People have different noses, different skin, different tastes, are anosmic to some, and you are not going to interpret every single perfume the way I do, which is why I am constantly advocating for sampling first. I have received a lot of feedback of people loving this perfume as well. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you, but I get a completely different experience out of it, and I share exactly what I get.
