I totally understand the concept, but executing it seems easier said than done. I remember when I read "healing back pain" it all clicked, but I have a difficult time putting it into practice. But I have some OCD tendencies and I can get a bit obsessed with researching the "cures" or exercises for sciatica. I guess the first step is STOP researching. But it's hard not to when you're in pain.
Sure, easier said than done. If you're having trouble applying the concepts, then it sounds like you could use some support. Hi Doctor Charlie i must admit that you are thinking outside the box, and everyone don't do this and i believe what you said is very important and true and i also believe that brain, hart and soul are connected together and this exactly what you are saying, thank you sooooo much doctor 👌🌺
Thank you, this is so much my life, I have had pain off and on down my leg for two years now.I have to bend and twist with my job which seems to aggravate my body even though I only work three hours a day.I am 76 and do have arthritis in my lower back so seem doomed as can’t get out of this rut.I will try this mind method and will try to set up a meeting ,just the time difference is alittle tricky as I live in New Zealand.thank you so much once again.
Hey Diane! thanks for watching and sorry to hear. Hang in there! Yes, I work with many folks in New Zealand and Australia... I know the time zones can be wacky... but where there's a will- there's a way. I look forward to reviewing your case. Dr. Charlie PT
Hey Dr. Charlie, I've had short piriformis syndrome for about a decade at this point but had it under control with exercises and stretches, but recently I threw out my back and I couldn't get my sciatica under control this time so I finally went to go see a PT and I got diagnosed with cluneal nerve entrapment. Basically he pressed on my back and I would feel nothing but right when he would stop pressing I would feel a jolt go down my leg. With that being said just curious if this is something you've encounter before and if you have plans to make a video on it?
Can Piriformis pain cause SI Joint Pain? I suspect my gluteus medius and piriformis both are really weak and has caused my SI Joint irritation for the last 2 years
Piriformis pain does not refer to the SI Joint... but SI Joint pain can refer to the piriformis (buttock). If your hypothesis of glute weakness causing SI Joint irritation is correct- then strengthening your glutes should eliminate your pain. If it does/or has not- then weakness is not the cause of your pain.
