We quit boating a few years ago because of the complexity and cost. I'm sticking to motorcycles for sure. Glad you found your knife! Thanks for another very enjoyale video!
Love all you're doing Dan...& what you're about. I really appreciate that you're different to many biker channels, in that you're not about product pushing or monetary gain. Truly inspiring & enjoyable...so glad I came across you & your channel.
I live near Portland and I love exploring random weird places in the area on my motorcycle! Cemeteries, rural granges, ghost towns. It’s an awesome place to live!
Abandoned boats, cars, houses, and even motorcycles always prompt thoughts about who owned it, were they ecstatic the day they bought it, they day they lost it or did it outlive the owner? An excellent day when you can find your wayward knife and it probably means there is good energy in that knife! Thanks for taking us all along on a good day.
I love how the internet allows us to link to people temperamentally the same as us. After the US election it's easy to see lots of rabid people (on both sides of the atlantic).... but this video reminds us that yeah, some guy just cruising out to look at a old boat without any hyper-important agenda is just the same of many of us all around the world. I love it! Keep it up! Reminding people to just "be".
The two happiest days of a boat owner: The day the boat is purchased/commissioned. The day the boat is sold. As someone who was a recreational sailor for 30 years, ya, it's true. Ned in SC
Searching and exploring are a big part of the moto-seduction I feel. And I don't need to be bored to get on the bike. Your video reminded me of a past period of sailboat obsession. I came close to seriously getting on the buying track of something in the 36 foot range. Thankfully, a friend asked me to help him sail his Hans Christian cutter from Norfolk Virginia to Peakes Island Maine. Storms, naval exercises, knock downs, and becalmed with engine failure gave me the necessary dose of aquatic reality to cleanse me of any further desire for my own sailboat. I had crewed for years on other people's boats. I didn't need one of my own. Especially since it was four hours to the Chesapeake, Atlantic Ocean, or the Great Lakes. Not particularly conducive to sailing. Scooters and motorcycles have been a far better choice. I'm glad you found your life. I'm sitting here thinking about you in a motorcycle gang with a boot knife. I guess some future video will be showing your Glock 17 and concealed carry permit. Keep adventuring!
Very enjoyable! I'm staying clear of politics myself. Shit gets old. 🍻 My dad had a pontoon boat when I was a kid. We fished on it a lot until I got my first set of golf clubs. Since then I've never been on another boat lol. 😂
Someone once told me (who owned boats) "A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into." Loved this video, now go and explore some more random sh*t. 🙂
That was a nice boat at one time definitely a shame that Tiger motorcycle is sounding good just sold my 1150gsa and my 1200gs wondering what my next bike will be,cool videos I always enjoy your videos thanks for sharing
I'm with you about sometimes just going out for a ride to do some (otherwise) dumb stuff. Seems to remind me of when I was young and rode "just because." I had fewer concerns and found it easy to just enjoy the experience. Seems that brings me back to much the same today. Fun to find a lost knife!
I'm in Titusville, FL. We have a couple marinas with several dozen boats moored out in the Indian River. After each hurricane, there are 5 or 6 boats smashed up against the shore and abandoned. Which is sad, because you know there's a lot of time and money in each one. What's even sadder are the huge multimillion-dollar yachts I've seen go out twice in 5 years.
It does make you wonder what the story behind that boat was. What adventures it saw and how it ended up abandoned there on the shore. Did somebody love that little boat once upon a time?
I thought you were going to explore the UFO boat that’s been grounded out there for years. These stolen derelict boats on the Willamette are a huge problem these days. Especially down on Ross Island
Sorry to hear about your last video. I saw the thumbnail/title and was saving it for later to watch. Not surprised at what happened, though. I enjoy watching your videos. The atmosphere you evoke is just right. Peace.
Your last video was a good one and needed. Don't ever give up on trying to help, it is what the world needs. Then just what the doctor ordered, is a motorcycle ride on a magical island where you had a great day!
Love it! Fantastic job on the editing as well!
Any reason to ride is a good reason!
Excatamundo !
You are such a weirdo and I love it. So glad you found your knife
You got a loicense for that ?!

Let's see some more random stuff. plz ;-)
as a kid in the 70s we had a sailboat on the Columbian on the Vancouver side....so much sailing under the 1-205 bridge.
Riding a bike always cures the boredom, no matter what the destination, great video and bonus on finding your knife too 👍
It takes me an hour to pick up some milk 6 blocks away 😏

Definitely naming my next gang The Boot Knife Gang.
I love just hopping on the bike to go and see something for no reason other than there is something there to be seen.

There was a video from about a week ago that’s been deleted, due to some underlying issue that you have mentioned in your post.

This is exactly the kind of random shit I enjoy on motorcycle vlogs. Happy you found your knife. Looks like you’re still in the club.
That was fun! Glad you found your knife.
Great day for a ride! Found your knife! Convinced yourself that boat wasn’t worth the effort! Great day for a ride!
That little sailboat was a beautiful boat, can picture it on the Columbia with the spinaker hoisted cruising along on a sunny day. Sad way to end up.
I love Sauvies Island rides as well. I live on the west side of the hills, so the journey there and back along Skyline makes for a fantastic trip.
That’s the area I learned to drive in many nights in the late 80’s!

Finding that knife was such a bonus!!!
Random rides. I am all for it.😊

Looks like a great day to me, knife recovered = money saved. Free boat = maybe new TH-cam channel? Now a few miles on the saddle = priceless.
Recovering this boat would indeed make a great youtube channel. Sadly, what I know about boats could fit into a teacup.
Bugmoto - Exploring Random Shit. Seems like a good subtitle to me, LOL.
there is no such thing as a free boat, it cost me a lot of money to confirm this! I like this-random rides and rambling, not just endless gopro

Yeah, random shix it fine with me... Don't let the political Shix get in the way of more random joy... I too have a random stuff you tube station.
Love your presentation!
Cool video, thank brother
Thank you
Star, star, star, star and star day!

Heck Ya!
Hello! nice trip! how many degrees are outside in your area?
Name your knife Beatrix.* Fun stuff, thanks! (* If you don't know why, let me know.)
All the random shit! I was recently looking at jobs in my field in the Portland area, I wanna see the cool places I can ride Bon Bon!
I thought you were going to explore the UFO boat that’s been grounded out there for years.

Wait, what? They actually took down your last video. Seriously WTF? I thought that comment I just read was a joke.
Nm. Should have read the video description. I really enjoyed that one. Can’t we all just get along?
