    Somehow I have never needed to do this in over 10 years of installing windshields for a living. Still, props for sharing!

    Just heat the glass up on the other side .with high powered heat gun. Comes straight off. No damage to any components and gel pad.

    Better to take a paddle blade and go around the edges. That way your not damaging the gel pad

    1:30 I think it's meant to be glued back in for optical efficiency.

    I have a question about bonding this sensor. Mechanics has replaced the windscreen on my Vw golf and now I see from outside "air bubble" between the glass and the sensor. They said me that it is gel and it will be fixed it by itself after some days on the sun. Are they right ? I am not so sure ... :-/

      Did it fix by itself? Replaced my windshield and have the same problem
