@@RennieAsh Dune is one of those that takes a couple of watches to truly grasp what's going on. I mean, you can get the basics if you pay attention. It's REALLY dumbed down compared to the books. But Dune 2 is phenomenal. It was incredible in theaters. Just like the first one. They're super dense though, and still glossing over tons of stuff.

Thank you for this, Part 1 was a masterpiece and Part 2 doesn't fall short. There's no summary/introduction in Part 2 though so this kind of recap is mandatory before diving into Part 2 if you haven't seen Part 1 recently. Anyway, they are both awesome movies, so blessed to be able to see these in theatres.

I SO needed this. I was bored in Pt1, no matter how hard I wanted to enjoy it, so I didn't hold any of the plot. I was going to do a rewatch before Pt2, but I couldnt get into it again. This is an excellent recap.

I watched this just to help me remember the last movie before watching the new one, but I ended up learning about a lot of stuff that I missed about the first movie and getting even more out of it. These are great I plan on watching these for every movie I watch from now on

I am SO glad you did a recap.....they are the best! I even SAW this film, but another 20-minute recap left me even more confused, while your succinct five-minute recap brought it down to a far more simplistic level and I am ready for tonight's viewing of Part 2!

I definitely enjoy more in depth reviews and breakdown a lot more than short ones but I find myself always coming back here.
