It was such a joy to meet Scott!! I can see why you two are together, it is obvious that you adore him, as he does you. I see that you are both extremely empathetic and that you have a deep connection in that you are willing to work together and truly enjoy spending time with each other! It sure is a good thing to count your blessings! Despite the battles and struggles with food...how lovely to have a beautiful partner who truly cares about you on the journey as you overcome! Seems carnivore has turned food from being somewhat of an enemy into a helpful friend.

I enjoyed this very much. To be so vulnerable is a very hard thing to do. My husband and I could NEVER do an interview like this. It would be a total disaster. We have been married for 48 years and we still struggle with communication, but we keep trying. We think so differently, yet we pretty much have the same likes and dislikes so that helps a lot. I wish we could communicate as well as you two. That would be amazing. You are very blessed.

I have been fortunate enough to have a kind, supportive, loving husband as well, it is such a blessing. We have been together since 1987, unfortunately he has advanced Alzheimer’s and I am now his caregiver, but he is still the sweetest kindest man. What a sweet heart! You both are lucky to have each other. It has be amazing to see your transformation. I am carnivore for 3 months and went through SBGal. priming etc...I had a histamine welts and rash (head to toe), over a year. I am healing my body, loosing weight, walking, lost 28 pounds (but didn't do this for weight loss). I get a lot of inspiration from listening to you and seeing your life changes! It would be much more difficult to make this change with a significant other who was not on board. Some people even have spouses who sabotage things by having lots of off plan foods around the house and trying to tempt the person who is changing their life to backslide. With me, it was just me and my dog who was fully on board. He basically looked at me and said, "We are not GOING carnivore, you silly human, we ARE carnivores. It just took you a little while to figure that out."
Your Doggo was like "HECK YES LETS DO IT!" . I do know I am blessed to have someone that fully supports my journey and jumped right in on it with me!

That was a wonderful talk, I feel very relaxed and happy.
its interesting to hear that he said he was “kind of a jerk” about your weight and thought all overweight people were lazy but learned grace and humility from you and how you treated him during your relationship. I am curious what kind of women he dated previously who didnt know grace or teach him to be humble, considering his obvious physical flaws. So good see that you both are satisfied and fulfilled with each other in your union.
What a genuine and informative video! I love your questions and how you talk about both of you growing and changing together, but most importantly supporting each other through this season of change. This is a great video for couples to reference.

One other thing.. I tried to kill myself with a ton of oxy and xanax... my ex husband at the time took me to the hospital I was so angry. I tried because of my diabetes and kidney disease I did not want to go from either of those. I am so glad I found a cure! I'm happy to be alive now.
