And just when you thought that Otto Hightower was a self absorbed, over reaching arrogant snake, Unwyn Peake seems determined to one up him in these factors.
At least Otto had some redeeming qualities. He was subtle, competent, and knew his king and colleagues very well. Peake was brazen, brutal, and clumsily authoritarian, and didn't bother to understand anyone he was working with, including the king, which is what ultimately made him fail.
@@emmanueladedeji3335 I don’t think HOTD is gonna go into Aegon iii’s reign past maybe like the end of the hour of the wolf to the very earliest regency
Problem is they are toddlers, not school age as in the book. According to the showrunners Aegon is 4 and Viserys is 2. If you age them with the timeline, then Aegon will be 9 and Viserys 7 when they are reunited. Doesn’t nearly have the effect, also Viserys is far too young for Lara Rogare.
@@markgleason2078 yes . I did consider that . Maybe they'll change the duration of the dance too . Even then , the two young princes would still be too young for this storyline . I guess we'll see what they chose to do
@Mark Gleason At this point, the show is plotting its own course. As the book is said to be mostly inaccurate, they can. The dragon seed storyline will probably change as well since laenor is still alive.

@Thalmor Agent Those with the blood of old valyria often saw themselves as more divine than mortal. U can see that in how house targaryens clung to nostalgia of their lost homeland and did not do much to integrate. The Queen even tells her sons pretend to honor their gods, not our gods or the gods . Possibly the only one who did was baelor, and he was clearly nuts
I think if they do go for the anthology route once the dance of the dragons is over and explore other points in time i suspect this could be one of those eras the look at
@@WorldOfWesteros Same. Sure they may not have been Dragonlords but, those of House Rogare, Velaryon and Celtigar still interest me as some of the few Valyrian high-born families left after the Doom. You'd think more of the Targaryens would perhaps search for those in Essos with the blood of the Dragon as well, like Aerys wanted for Rhaegar.
@Thalmor Agent They don't have the blood of the dragon, unfortunately. However, their blood is considered pure enough not to mask the dragon riding gene.
I plan on doing the whole Targaryen Dynasty, only issue i have is after halfway though Aegon iii fire and blood stops and we only have The World Of Ice and Fire and The main books. It shouldn't be much of a problem just they don't quite have the detail of fire and blood, and there is a bit of an issue of unresolved plot points that GRRM wants to resolve in on Fire and Blood part 2 such as Alys Rivers, The fates of a lot of characters such as Balea and Rhaena so i'm still figuring out how to approach that tricky cross over point between the two books.
Well, I’ve been kind of thinking about that issue, and I came up with a solution until George RR Martin finishes the second volume of fire and blood. Maybe you can do what you’re doing with the Targaryen history playlists and do an in-depth look at Roberts rebellion and the iron Island rebellion. And maybe you can do it what if series on if Rhaegar took the throne
Can't wait to see who they cast as Oakenfist! I am the small minority of people who believe that Corlys is his father and that his mother was actually a Dragonseed!!!
I believe this that Corlys is his father too, but there is another possibility : Alyn could be the bastard son of Vaemond Velaryon, protected by Corlys, who would thus ensure the survival of the Velaryon bloodline, without offending his allies, and out of hidden solidarity for his murdered nephew (his brother in the show). Passing off Addam and Alyn as Laenor's children then allows her to get rid of the problem posed by the Silent Five.
not quite, about one chapter left about 60 pages, then the rest of Aegon iii is in the World Of ICe and Fire but there are a lot of holes and unfinished stuff that complicates things a bit, like characters fates and stuff so i'm still thinking about how to approach that in terms of videos.

They were always rebellious siding with the Blackfyres….. I think that is in their blood. If i were the Targaryen King during the Peake Uprising i would have stripped them of all lands, titles and execute all of them, because they caused so much problems and deaths in these centuries. O by the way, King Maekar was killed by the Peakes during their Rebellion. In other words House Peake should be destroyed
