    So you might see this updated version of the map popping up in thumbnails occasionally, it's a long way off, but i just wanted to gauge people's feelings on it. I love my original map and i'm very conflicted about the idea of a updated remastered version with a lot more detail and fixed errors.

    Not gonna lie, the ending made me chuckle, it perfectly sums up Aegon's reign in a nutshell;
    Aegon III: *Shows up to meeting, signs, leaves*

      I mean who could blame the kid you hear about your brother getting killed by his own family member then you watch your dragon get killed that brought you back home to safety on top of that your brother you though died. Then your oldest brother died at the hands of the same people who you though killed but capture your brother. Then your mother gets fed to a dragon in front of you by your half sibling.. I mean that only part but that a lot to traumatize anyone in what a 2 year span..

      Well, I understand he's traumatized and scared due to all the War and family death he experienced as a child, that much I do understand why he'd be weary to do much.
      Though, I don't see why he scorned the Dragons off
      He's the Dragonbane mostly due to the fact that he didn't even really bother to place eggs in his kid's cradles or properly hatch any of them, and only Alyn and Baela tried to hatch a Dragon with their daughter, though that one was a different story since it ended up deformed, in a way that was worse than Caraxes who was at least still viable to grow and do Dragon things
      But yeah, he couldn't blame his family cause all the ones who took part in it all had died. (well, Baela lived) so he took it out on the Dragons instead.
      At least he had a decent relationship with Gaemon, and with his brother Viserys, and even Jaehaera, though even then, all but his brother ended up dying tragically young

      @@thalmoragent9344 excuse me if I’m wrong but I didn’t realize there any dragon eggs left I know Aegon 2 took a couple to try to hatch a new sunfyre but was unsuccessful. I know there were a couple wild dragons and I believe morning was still young but they never said what happens to her..

    Torrhen Manderly was a good choice. His liege lord is Cregan Stark.

    So the Maesters pretty much had absolute power at this time. Munkun was both Regent and Hand, Aegon III was a reclusive shell, no Small Council, and control over the raven communication network. Now… what might Munkun have done during those months of absolute power? Overseen the poisoning of all the dragon eggs perhaps?

      In a case that it's not maesters just talking big game, this would be the best time to go about it. Aegon III and his court was distracted and Dragonstone was probably lightly guarded.

    Would you ever consider doing an epilogue to Aegon III's Regency Council. It's mentioned a few times in the books so it would be interesting to see how it was remembered years later.

    Damn, the reign of Aegon III meant something crucial for future generations.. House Targaryen could no longer do as they pleased in Westeros.. they now have to bow to the whims of the andal lords 😢😮

    Unwin Peake should have married Alicent Hightower. Truly that would be a match made in hell.
