I’m still looking for someone who specializes in the DE. I’ve learned to be my own gunsmith just from buying all kinds of weird stuff, but the DE has been by far the most challenging. With that said though, I discovered that with the proper optimization, the DE is a surprisingly reliable pistol.
@@mcnasty0322 Agreed. Ammo is an important factor. It’s best to not run soft point ammo but instead use a FMJ or a fully jacketed hollow point like the XTP bullet. However I’ve found that heavy lube is only needed until the gun is thoroughly broke in. I’ve ran my gun dry on more than one occasion. Not intentionally….. but regardless, it didn’t negatively impact the guns function. It took me like 200 rounds before the gun broke in though.
