Very very cool Chris 😊 I still have my 1992 MII Deluxe. Really awesome guitar! I haven’t played it for a while and watching your video is making me want to pick it up again! My one was refinished 20 years ago in a snakeskin fabric finish. The neck on this version of the guitar is fantastic. And a. Beautiful rosewood fretboard too. Different from the later versions. Btw, for the neck pickup out of phase thing, just change the hot wire and the insulated ground wires around (so hot goes to ground and ground goes to the switch) and it’ll bring it back into phase. Have an awesome day man!

Hi Jay, thanks for checking out the video man and for the tip on the wiring. Before I brought the guitar I was watching your Deluxe video. I love the snake skin and your amazing playing as always, you're awesome dude. Have an awesome week man.

Thanks man! I agree with you this has some got some spunk - wouldn't be fair to re-finish it.

You're playing through your Bogner 3534 correct? And other than possible delay and reverb effects, were there any other effects?

Hi Rob, thanks for checking the video out. I am playing the 3534 in the video. The only other thing in the chain is a tube screamer on the heavy distorted bits for a bit more juice and to tame the bottom end as the 3634 was driven hard through my fryette power station.

@@chasingtone2022 interesting. I found your channel because I've been researching amps to buy, and my "short list" includes the Victory Super Kraken and the Bogner 3534 - BOTH of which you've demonstrated recently! I've been leaning towards the Super Kraken, but imo your sound here is BETTER than your other Bogner 3435 demos. It's almost like using the tube screamer and then you probably were then able to back slightly off the gain knob on the amp?... and that improved the sound? I like Bogner... it has a lot of personality/color in the tone... but almost too much. The opposite extreme might be a very smooth Mesa Mark iic+ overdrive sound? And then the Super Kracken, when high gain is dialed it (but NOT modern metal... so channel 2, preamp focus, 1 O'clock gain), seems to be a happy medium between the mesa mark 2c+ and the Bogner. But now this vid comes along and it does seem like you tamed the bogner and made it NOT be too much, thus making it sound more like the Super Kraken. Does that sound about right?

@@robmcewen4621 Ahh I like the sound of your short list. The Kraken and the 3534 are both awesome amps. I am really starting to dial in my recording rig - I use a Grossmann iso cab and I recently changed the speaker to a Greenback rather than a V30 and it sounds so much better. I am planning on updating my Bogner review as I feel I can make it sounds better now. I like the Bogner because it can get as heavy and distorted as you want although this can be dialled back to taste. This ESP guitar likes a tube screamer better than a SD1, which is what I usually use. The volume was up all of the way on the ESP however it wasn't driving the amp as hard as my other guitars for some reason and I wonder if it is this that has made the difference in the Bogner Not being too much. It feels like along time ago that I had the Kraken but I do remember it being an amazing amp with the best overtones of any amp I have ever played. I have just been on a bit of a discovery find 'my sound' and I feel that it lies with Bogner. Anyway, good luck with your amp journey and I hope you are happy with the amp once you have made up your mind.
