Intensa 460 Series Exam Table Setup and Installation Guide
Welcome to the installation guide for the Intensa 460 Series Exam Table. To ensure a smooth setup, please follow these detailed instructions carefully:
Shipping and Transport:
The 460 Exam Table has a shipping weight of approximately 400 lbs. For safe handling, we recommend using a hand truck and enlisting sufficient personnel to transport the table to its installation location.
Receiving the Shipment:
Upon arrival, inspect the carton for any visible damage. If damage is noticed, immediately report it to both the carrier and Hausted. This helps in managing any potential issues promptly.
Carefully remove the external strapping and boxing to access the table.
Unpacking the Exam Table:
Remove the blocking that secures the exam table to the shipping pallet. Use a pry bar carefully, placing it under the base and the vinyl fabric to prevent damage to the unit.
Once in the final position, remove the internal transport strapping to release the exam table from its shipping restraints.
Inspection:
Examine the exam table and all its components for any nicks, dents, scratches, or other damage. If any damage is detected, notify the carrier and Intensa immediately for further instructions.
Leveling the Exam Table:
If the exam table top and base are not level, leveling adjustments must be made:
Locate and remove the four leveling screw caps on the H Base leveling feet.
Adjust each screw using a 3/8-inch hex key. Turn clockwise until each screw makes contact with the floor.
Replace the leveling screw caps once leveling is complete.
Power and Testing:
An extra fuse is located at the back left under the head of the table next to the Off button. Squeeze the tab gently with your fingernails and pull it out if needed.
To connect the power cord, lift and support the back of the table with one hand. Plug in the cord and verify that the green light on the control box is illuminated. This indicates that the power connection is successful.
