KTM 790 is the best street bike for india, but sadly people are never going to know about its value........we still have a lot go than just cheap price tags and number of cylinders to judge a bike's worthiness.
I just have to say is i test rode hero xtreame 200r which is great value for money. Like spec vise it is good, giving 200cc. then i rode mt15 just for curiosity wich have much less torque and engine capacity. And man i was amazed that bike is on whole different level than hero. From that i decided to never judge bike by it's specs. I get it, it is more pricey than hero but it's worth it.

Singhee, the specialist on the Scalpel, setting things straight. Guess the only thing smoother than KTM's engine is Singhee's presentation. My morning couldn't get better than this.
A person spending 10 lacks on a bike can easily put in 2 lacks more and buy the lightest and the flagship bike of its segment the street triple s or the rs , they dont heat and will be easier to use daily in city because of its tall gearing. 790 can be someone's secondary bike , for those who have more expensive bikes than this and wants a light middle weight for city usage and sunday morning breakfast rides, also for those who are "track only" people, but i doubt that it can beat street triple rs timings even on a track though, the 765 rs is faster than the Daytona 675r on the track and this is saying something .This is a bike for those who can buy it on full cash , not for those who are pulling up a loan for a middle weight bike. I hope you understand what im saying.

The front looks like 390 which is like 4 L cheaper and the exhaust looks like something from a dirt bike(old habits) 4.Its a KTM, it doesn't the brand value of Triumph or Ducati. If it was a lakh cheaper, it would have been a great buy as an all around bike but...
The problem is that people complaining about the price don't get to ride the bike along with it's competition for thousands of kms like you guys before justifying the price of each bike. We have to take your word for it and 10 lac rupees is a pretty big amount for it. Kudos for the last shot. 👍🏻

Great review! I just went today to test ride one, oh my word it’s nuts this bike! Electronics can save you that’s for sure. Top speed I reached was shy of 200 that’s on a straight and bike relatively new with only demo mileage. Great commuter and definitely worth considering..👌🔑😝🤓

Without traction control z800 and initial z900 was selling very well. If you have access to race tracks, only there 9 lecel of traction control makes sense. If you need 9 levels on regualr road, you might buy a ninja 400 because throttle response will be like that only.
@@MikBan the reason why Duke 790 is inline 2 is because it focus more on power and performance than any other. Plus 790 is quite light compare to Gixxer so power to weight ratio is better of 790 than gixxer, also 750 looks more of a tourer than Naked sports.

The GSX 750 is a far Far better choice than this tbh. Looks better, feels premium, and not just the Spec sheet or performance figures, this bike doesn't justify the feel or the character that it's asking and if I'm spending 8 lakh plus for an Orange Mario bike, I'd want people to notice and not just look at it as another Duke on the road lol. KTM fan boys will definitely drool over this. And people call Italian bikes absurd and not value for money xD. Italians FTW 😩😩🤭🤭🤭☠️✨✨

I have a 2017 Duke 390 myself so if you wish to have the blood and dna of the ktm and price is not an issue then duke 790 is a no brainer..simply for the tons do fun it has to offer.. however there are strong rivals to this bike like the Street Triple and Z900

You nailed the description of the D790. If you look at the spec sheet, it will disappoint you. Apart from the torque, I don't think there is much to write home about. But I have yet to see a single reviewer worth his salt who's not surprisingly impressed by this machine. I am really itching to ride one. Very good review. I already find d390 handful for normal usage. But yes if you have cash to burn, 790 is the way to go.

I would choose the GSXS 750 for everything it has and the Traction Control it offers. Costs less too
