- Iranian Proxy forces suffered their worst blow in Beirut as Israeli airstrikes have destroyed their leadership bunker, decapitating their command from leadership in southern Lebanon. Israel used the new F-35I Adir in the airstrike, one of the few times it's use has been announced publicly. Iran is calling for war with Israel after the strike and the fate of Nasrallah, the commander of the Lebanese based Iranian proxy, is unknown. The United states has announced they had no involvement with the strike, and only were notified moments before the bombs hit. Netanyahu is currently travelling back to Israel after the strike was conducted.

One important thing to note- the command center was underground, that's why they used so many bombs, as these were bunker busters going in on top of each other to dig into the ground.

Its political wing is the "Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc" party in the Lebanese Parliament. They are literally part of the government in addition to having people in Lebanon's military.

Many years ago I flew into Beirut as the Lebanese Civil War began, and I mean literally. My MEA flight was actually hit during landing by ordinance fired by the Druze from the adjoining mountain side. It's long past time that Iran fight it's war against Israel from and in Iran, and leave the Lebanese to sort out Their own country. I ask you, if competing 'Gods' truly wanted to fight, they would do it themselves and NOT rely upon we puny humans to determine the outcome. This is a war, instituted and conducted BY men who usually evade the consequences of their own actions by transferring the incredible pain, suffering and loss of life to thousands of others in their stead. Today...is different. I have been in and around many wars. War/dying, is a pitiful way to 'live.'
Isreal means business, as they should. During the 2006 war with Hezbolah during the ground offensive Isreal took a lot of casualties, enough so that they stopped the offensive. I am sure Isreal has kearney and will not repeat the same mistakes.

When I was young, Lebanon was a vibrant, multi-cultural vacation paradise. Then Hezbollah moved in and, essentially, turned it into crap. It was also the only Middle-Eastern country where, post 1948, the Jewish population continued to increase. But then Hezbollah started murdering them (killing a couple of hundred) and they started leavingt. By 1976 the Jewish population was down to 1800. The murders continued and by the 1990s pretty much every Jew had been driven out and the Jewish population was in the low hundreds. By 2006 there were just 40 Jews left in the country, almost all of them old people. The liberal left won't tell you that as they pretend the Israelis are the bad guys.
