I have learned so much from watching Laura from Garden Answer! Since the pandemic, planting succulents and cacti is my new go-to hobby. She's provided so many great ideas and she explains each step so well. If I get stuck, or if she's going too fast for me, I just pause, rewind and I'm good to go again. I'm buying plants, plant stands, potting soil, tools, soil covers, etc, etc, etc. LOL... Thank you, Laura, for sharing your passion and knowledge with us.

Just started w succulents- zebra plant, elephant bush doing well. The echeveria started stretching, so placed it outside for better luck. Aloe loves the bright light it gets... will try some of the others you recommended. Thanks

Just realized 3/6 plants I got for indoors were echeveria. Would keeping them in the window sill suffice or they must be outside? If they must go outside what would you say the lowest temperature for them is okay?

I just got into cactus and succulents about a month ago. I have 6 cactus now and I hope I don't kill them! My cat bothers with one of the cactus pots... It has 3 camaecereus (peanut cactus) pups in it that haven't fully grown roots yet and they're constantly being picked out by crafty paws!!
Where and how do you display your succulent arrangements in your house? I love all the different arrangements and options but I’m left in the end with so many that I’m unsure of how display them

Hi Laura, i have a question about succulents.. can i grow them in my garden shed it pots? I have a garden shed/ building... i guess u can call it my Me shed.. It has windows all along 3 walls of it it runs the length of my garage. Its more of a garden room than a shed.. but its still out side if thats makes any sense?? If i pot up some succulents do you think they will survive out there? im sure i will have to bring them in in the winter..

Erica, me too, my greenhouse told me to put pebbles in the bottom. I have 3 plants in ceramic containers with out holes & they have tripled in size since May.
You can drill holes into them

I have recently bought a good number of soft succulents...and I live in India . We have summer temperatures going up to 46 degrees celcius which is like 100 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. I need some Advise on how I can take care 9f the soft succulents during summer .

The smaller the pot the smaller they stay generally but plants want to grow so change pots and soil to let them grow or you are stunting their growth.

Essie White if you go to the settings of the video, select playback speed, and try 0.75x or 0.5x it should slow down a good bit :)
