@@Beesechurgersports jumping is a crucial part of the game that is required to progress in the campaign, etc. Like in the Flood level in Halo CE, you need to jump up the ledges and crates to get up to the upper levels, otherwise you are forever stuck . You're literally forced to jump unless you figure out some shenanigans like in the video. That's easily worth 100 gamerscore for the whole MCC
Jared Evans So?, it’s 343, they give ridiculous gamer score for hard achievements like rock and coil hit back, it’s like 0.03 or 0.04% and they only give u 10 gamer score for it and u can basically only get it on one multiplayer map and it has to be match made games so I don’t think 343 would give u 100 gamerscore for completing all the campaigns without jumping

16:40 uh, guys? You know that entire back part of the Scarab can come off to expose the core, right?
That little circular light on the back can be shot, and will fall apart when damaged enough. When it comes off, the core is exposed to tank shots and hornet rockets. There are also missle turrets in The Storm that you can use to do the same thing to that scarab.

Ah! A video after my own heart. This is going to sound like a flex, but I've been playing through all the Halo games without jumping for years now. Fun fact, the achievement to beat a level without jumping in Halo 1 comes from me :) I have an old speedrun of Halo 1 without jumping. It's really nice to see other people taking on this challenge! It's super fun.
If you were curious to know, it's actually possible to beat all 3 games in single player without any respawning shenanigans. Sacred Icon was the level that gave me the most problems in Halo 2, then in Halo 3 it was the first section on Sierra 117. You have to kill Arbiter, then quickly shoot enough marines so you can melee cancel at them with a pistol to climb up the hills. It's annoying as heck, much easier with a second player playing Arbiter so you don't insta-die every time he respawns, but it is doable.
Ooh, and at the start of Pillar of Autumn, it's actually possible to climb over those pipes without jumping and without a second player.

you don't need to do crazy things to destroy the scarab you know, there is a way to destroy the back wall of one so even the scorpion can shoot out the core.

Also, you can lunge with the sword, if they got a floodform to get into position to charge, they also would not have had the issues in cortana
You can shoot the core out of the first Scarab with the mounted Missile Launcher without even having to move

Bumble Baytuna I just drive the warthog off the two hills that are basically ramps leading to the scarabs and land on them with the hog, hop out, destroy the core, then dip. Its a lot more fun that way in my opinion. And once you set the scarab into a meltdown, you can jump on the inside of the legs and when it blows up, you wont die but you will get launched basically outta the map. My brother and I did this for hours as kids

Dude, you can just get over the first obstacle in Pillar of Autumn by running into that slopey thing, crouching and then just landing on the pipe. I got the achievement for a non-jump Halo CE level via that. Hilarious to see you two standing on eachother to get through it.

The scarab 16:12 you can blow it up with the rocket machine gun xd (you can even destroy the armor that protect the core letting it vulnerable (aim at the glowing thing under the scarab antiaircraft weapon it falls off)

you didnt know that you can break back of the scarab in halo 3 leaving the core very vulnerable to vehicles. shoot the red or blue glowing part (depends on the scarabs condition) to break it.

For the record, in CE, when you uncrouch, you get enough height to get over those pipes. It's how solo players get that achievement on TPOA, and how the reveal skip in 343 Guilty Spark works.
I think some useful information for future halo 3 runs, the big protective backbit on the scarab can actually be destroyed making it super easy to take out a scarab without ever leaving a vehicle

I'm super late to this video and you may know this by now, but just an FYI, you can shoot off the backplate that covers the core on the Scarabs. You'll see a green lot shape in a cylinder-ish thing near the back end of the Scarab. The more you damage it, the more it'll turn red. When destroyed, it'll open up the entire back of the Scarab, making it easy to just lob grenades, shoot a rocket launcher, shoot at the core with a Hornet, etc. instead of boarding the Scarab or having to squeeze tank shits in between a small gap to kill it.
To play devils advocate for a brief moment, no jumping isnt possible for halo PC edition and I mean the original Halo 2003 PC Release. As you dont have co-op campaign, the same goes for Halo 2 PC 2004. Both of which are the "OG" and "NOT" The Master Chief Collection. I wish they had Co-Op Campaign, but this is pretty cool! The flood attacking you guys and the makeshift bridge, that is dedication!

For future reference you CAN walk over that pipe at the beginning of pillar of Autumn. That’s how I got that achievement completed a level without jumping. You run against the incline of the pipe on the sides until eventually the momentum propels you over.

For future halo 3 videos you can shoot off the back panel of the scarab to gain a direct view of the colony driving the scarab.

Yeah, the back plates of the scarabs in halo 3 can be blown off, directly exposing the core. Hornet rockets work too. You can also use the huge ramps in the area and drive a mongoose, ghost, or warthog (are they in that level?) and just drive right over it to land on it.
It could have saved you guys so much time to know that most of the time, players will respawn behind the other. My brother and I do this all the time. You just had to look away from the crates, and the second player should usually spawn up there.
Next one should be “Can you beat the entire Halo series without playing the game?”

6:41 I’ve gotten up the ledge by using a banshee, you gotta drive up the left wing of the ledge, and the hover mechanics should help boost you up entirely.

I've always taken that Scarab with the tank, there's no reason to endanger myself too much by trying to run up on it. Remember: Tank beats everything.
You can nuke the scarabs later in the game with the hornets too. I've also managed to nuke the first scarab in the game with the missile pod, I never repeated it but it is a possible method.
The marines already won the war, while chief and Arbiter are trying to jump 😂
I have a challenge for ya. Can you beat all halos, with just one mag. No reloading, your allowed to pick up other guns but you can only use that mag of the gun and so and so on. Also to make this challenge more harder can limit it to human or covenant weapons.
They were able to get through Halo 1, 2 and almost the entierity of 3 without shooting. Literally all that stopped them from completing that is the like 3 shots you need from Sgt. Johnson's Spartan Laser to take out Guilty Spark.
Fun facts about the scrubs from halo 3, the back piece that blocks clean shot to the core can be destroyed giving you a clener shot without boarding and there are 2 doors in the bottom part that can be destroyed easliy so you can board it if you stand on a vehicle, you can also damage the 2 cannons and make them shoot slower but you will more than likely go for the core more than anything.
The first part of Pillar of Autumn is passable with no jumps at all, completely sol by pushing against the pipes, and there is even an achievement for it...you guys did it the hard way lol

Master chief took the whole “boots on the ground” concept from Call of Duty too seriously
For years, I'vo destroyed Halo 3 scarabs by destroying back plate to reveal weak spot without jumping in. Amazed that these guys never did that in this vid. Just wallop the red circle on the back until the back blows up, the shoot the glowy part with a tank round or rocket turret.
6:42 There's actually a MUCH easier method to get up there without jumping. If you get into one of the ghosts, holding down the A button will actually lift up the nose slightly which allows you to get the ghost into that area. It also makes getting the banshee much easier

You can get passed the pillar of autumn obstacle if you get a running start and run into the corner.
On Two Betrayals you can just drive the ghost to get to the banshees haha. Solid effort though!
You can make that first jump without jumping solo by running into the slope and crouching which allows you to get over the pipe I used this for the achievement for beating a ce level without jumping it’s janky and I only figured it out on accident one day

Hey, FYI, in Halo 3 you can destroy the Scarabs back to reveal the shield/core you have to destroy so you don't need to get an angle to throw granades or the Scorpion ( Hope you use this information for future videos in Halo 3 :D)
