I've actually been building this plane on and off for a few months now. Just the weapons and numerous decals to finish when I get time. I did have a couple of fit issues with the intakes and landing gear bay, as well as removing a "lovley" line on the canopy halves.
@@yorkshiremanmodels I think I scraped the line off gently with a blade and then use wet 2000, 5000, 7000 and 10000 grit wet and dry paper. Finished it off with a cotton bud and some T-Cut of all things. I got shut of the line in about 15 mins.
Great build so far! Looking forward to the finish.
cheers and hopefully wont be long until its finished
Cracking build so far on the F4 really looking forward to the second part on the painting stage 👍
already started it and its taking a hell of a lot of paint lol
@@yorkshiremanmodels Are you using Mr Color or Tamiya on the F4 ?
Finished this same kit about a year ago. It was easy and fun!
I am painting it now and it's already looking great just with the base paints on and I have yet to decal it

O yes it's a pain that line on the canopy
Spent ages as well removing that and then polishing the canopy to make it clear again

I remembered ved the line with 1000 grit then worked up with 2000 2500 and then with a 3000 tamiya sponge then finally used tamiya finishing compounds
Cool model.
thanks
