- Hello and welcome back to the channel. While a lot of work is going on in a different part of the house we had time for an off the cuff bat rep while the garage has been stripped and emptied then filled again with building materials.
We threw down a small 1250 game, I do love the smaller points skirmishes. And I took the new dire wolf for a spin, is it all its cracked upto be?

Thanks Derek, yeah that Dire wolf has some nasty potential! In a lot of different maniples! Regia could be a good one using a Warlords shields to keep it safe

We're back but not back, just squeezing one in before it's actual lights off. Which will be soon hopefully. I think Age of Darkness will complement AT for those that want the full Hersey setting

@@Tabletop_Standard , it sure does. It only shut down my Reaver and Warhound. I can't imagine how irritating it would be to shut down a Warmaster or Psi Titan...

We've got something EPIC planned very soon, but not a full batbrep but I think people will enjoy it. Then it's lights out till the garage is done
Great batrep...recently joined the ranks with Legio Solaria so would love to see more of the ladies of Titanicus on the channel in the future (even if I'm a little underwhelmed by their rules, just great lore and scheme) ... Defo love the idea of the Direwolf in both Regia and Venator... I've only used my volcano cannon one as an auxiliary titan so far
Welcome to the Legio Titanicus! Yeah Solaria are a bit bland rules wise, Steve really had no benefit from them but like you say they are a great looking Lefio with cool lore. I think the Direwolf is going to be very popular. The neutron for me is the game changer

Great batrep guys. I think with outflank you can't come in in the opponent's deployment zone though, so that hound might've been a bit too far along the board edge. Still a great game to watch though!
I wasn't aware of that from the strat? Has it been FAQ'd I've missed? Glad you enjoyed it though 😁
@@Tabletop_Standard It's not in the FAQ, but if you look at the deployment maps in the core rulebook (page 86 onward), they show exactly what's classed as a neutral flank. For example, lines of battle has a 36" "neutral flank," then 6" of deployment zone per player.
When you come in via outflank, you have to deploy the model(s) along the neutral flank you chose in turn 1.
The OEW deployment cards don't have the words "neutral flank" on them, but the images suggest they work the same way.

I just have one question: what dark magic spell did you cast on your titans to draw all those shots into the weapons? I have never seen weapon come up on the location die so often.

@@Tabletop_Standard got a revear with volcano and melta cannons, specifically for the venator light maniple. Warhounds have got vulcan and turbo laser. Hopefully can actually get some games in

The most uninteresting replay. (ofcourse like from me anyway). This ion canon with the ability to shut down is too much. It's ok if it's just going through voids, but shutting down is too much. Especially on 3+.
Even dakka knight don't make me mad so much)
It's actually harder than you think. You need to make 4 or 5 successful rolls to make it happen
