the warbreaker looks so good i just wished it didnt have the cathederal on its back, stylistically it doesnt suit the horus heresy, but it definitely doesnt suit the other titans

I enjoyed that guys. I think you played the merged void shields mostly right according to how we play. The only difference is that because the Hound was wounded it would be assigned everything until it dies rather than clearing all of the voids off the other members of the detachment first (following the rulebook on allocating hits to models)

Your battle reports are spectacular! the models are so well painted an the terrain is excellent! LI is my jam too, just nowhere near your level though. one question, it seems like you were capturing objectives with the Warhounds, did you play that as a house rule? i was under the impression that titans were unable to capture or contest objectives. Rules as written that is. (we give them a tactical strength of 1 in our games so that they can take objectives).

I think you were doing the void shield correctly. You allocate hits to a detachment one at a time UNTIL a model loses wounds, then you need to start allocating hits to the same model. since void shields are not wounds, you spread them amongst the detachment until all the voids are gone, then hits need to go on wounded models first. This is more explicit in the Construct Shields rule for the Dark Mechanicum Stalkers, but functionally the same I would think. ALSO, I'm working furiously on a Dark Mechanicum stalker list to get ready in time for Adepticon, hoping to see some battle reports using these cool new units soon!

How was the game total time wise? It seemed like it was quicker than a standard 3k, since there were so few activations. I think allowing a larger ally cap for collegia titanica lists might be nice too, say 50%. Seeing 2 or 3 titans a side, with all the combined arms of a standard list, would really give that immersive apocalypse style feel (like the AoD 2.0 trailer). The scoring is still tricky. It’s nice to have the ability to “come back,” but it seems like the scoring ends up being “win-more.” Maybe 3 points per objective, and 3 points per secondary condition would make for a tighter game. The shared voids for the war hounds was cool, but unfortunately a lot of titan weapons are not created equal. Have you used grav weapons at all? I’ve always thought a grav weapon and swarmer missiles would be a good versatile loadout for a warhound, but I’ve never played with it.

Great video. I meant to watch this over the holiday break, but I'm glad I got to it now! I think the changes to scenario play you all have made are great. I'm slowly getting closer to playing, so hopefully I can get a game before half the year is over!
