Only just started watching, still on the first turn. Already, I am missing how effective blast markers from Epic 40,000. Those were great idea, which meanr even if you didn't roll well to hit, the enemy was still coming under fire. Which impacted upon their performance. Will continue to watch. Edit, finished watching, and yeah that didn't look fun for anyone. Some serious game issues apparent here. • Infantry are too fast, march order should be plus D6". At this scale having Infantry move that fast takes away their main issue. Namely getting around a huge battlefield. •Armour saves should be removed, in their place the armour values should be what the enemy needs to roll equal to or higher in order to score a wound. Would mean flipingbthe saves. So a 2+ save is now an armour value of either 5 or 6+. •Small arms weapons shouldn't be able to take out vehicles. Havoc launchers are meant to be an anti Infantry weapon. In all honesty, this game looks like it wasn’t thought through fully. I have yet to open my copy of the core game... not sure I will after watching this, ad I was planning on doing an Imperial army.

First time I've joined up for this sort of thing. Ive always thought there is enough content out there to not pay, but Ive been a fan of TableTop for a while now and know its all high quality stuff. Membership is just great value for money.

I personally just want to see all your videos come to your channel for all to watch and enjoy. Yes, I get running a niche channel is tough. I've tried and failed with this one I use, but I just think that having something like the upcoming "Clash of the Warbreakers" would be beneficial if more people, who may not be able to afford Patreons or TH-cam memberships, like myself, would be able to see it and gain both you and Maximal Fire more views and subscribers. Having stuff locked away seems to do more harm than good from what I have seen to smaller channels because if it's content people really want to see, but it's locked behind a pay wall, people simply will not watch your videos. That impacts your views, and your ad revenue. If you're lucky enough to get monetised. I'm not trying to be discouraging, or demanding, I am simply saying that early on, channels should focus on growth before any monetisation is implemented.

Great game and so happy to see a fresh AT report. Loved seeing different options being played like mass squadrons and flamer hounds. Still never taking flamer hounds.

Watching this just shows how poor the warhound is compared to other units for the price. Artillery did not shine either. Good report though and enjoyable dice rolling as ever !

What a fun game! It goes to show that in Titanicus, it might seem in early game, its going one way, but you gotta stay in there and play through, it can easily swing the other way!

Love it! I always prefer a visual way to learn, rather than reading a big rule book. Will you be doing more? If so would you consider doing a video on the rules around building formations, how they act on tabletop (coherency, how the "independent" rule looks in game). I've not actually played a game yet, so they could be quite obvious, but I always love a wee video explaining stuff that I can refer back to. Cracking wee video anyway, excited for more games of LI and Titanicus from you, glad to be supporting you guys through Patreon as well, your new studio looks fantastic.

Engagement! Thanks for making this one. I gotta say, while lots of tanks is cool, lots of infantry loots neat too when you see them all like that.

One question based on something that happened to me in a game, is the charging player allowed to pick and choose where he places his models or does he have to place as many in base contact as possible? I had a guy who just put all his men in 3v1 fights and ignored the rest of my detachment, can be used to assassinate certain models or alternatively drag out a combat. This obviously isnt an issue if you can pile in, but as you pointed out thats not always an option.

Think that is correct, or at least the way we play it! One question if you don't mind, how do you play multiple combats between units where it is 2 on 1? My understanding was you pair off wherever possible (have 1 on 1s) then 2 or 3 on 1 if there is spillover on either side. But after that self contained fight between that pair you move on to the next pair and start afresh. I've seen it where you might have an extra dice (from 2-1). The outnumbering unit wins, but then there is another unit touching it (which itself would otherwise be in a 1 on 1) which then gets an extra dice. The unit which it was due to be fighting 1 on 1 then gets an extra dice against that one. This seems super clunky to me, but might be because I'm coming from an Epic Space Marine background which was a much more straightforward game? Hope that makes sense!

Great event overview. Like you said in your other video the objective placement and mission is an issue and was definitely for the 3rd round here. It forced both sided to just blindly dash to the middle on turn one. Also I never like being able to move objectives back towards your lines.

Completely agree with the board size. I've only seen games on 6x4 and they were only 2000 points. It was packed enough on that size, 4x4 is nuts ! Moving primary scoring to the end has its own issues in that w winning list is just one that wipes the opponent out as, as you said, the opponent can't score if they have nothing left. I would like to see scoring starting on turn 2 at the earliest so forces are forces to blindly rush into the midfield. Even increasing the scoring as the turns progress (eg. mid field objectives worth 1,3,5,7 for turns 2,3,4,5) would be great. It would move the game back to strategic maneovring and keeping resouces alive for the late game rather than this blind rush into the middle with the resulting blood bath.

I felt so sorry for that Baneblade being turned into swiss cheese by the flyers on turn 3 😂 That was basically a fitting summary of the game, very hard for armoured-company type forces at the moment. For standard games they stand even less or a chance.
