    So thankful that I got to see them with Jim on the Angel Dust tour in Grand Rapids, MI, with Helmet opening. 16 bucks. Jim was their best guitarist.

  • @stevesanchez2432
    @stevesanchez2432 3 ปีที่แล้ว +31

    Jim was the sound. They were still great without him, but in 1990-1993, they were unstoppable, all eyes were on them and they were meant to go on to lead rock music into the future with a limitless legacy. Instead, we got a great, and at moments, excellent band.

      Yeah they kinda lost track , all albums whit jim even angel dust had that fnm sound but since kfad the band lost the original sound is not a really bad thing but is was a big change

    • @VambeefcoHorzey

      Jim had his place but he was a pretty limited guitarist, really, both in terms of playing and imagination. Pointless for him to stay when the others where branching out. He hated Angel Dust and supposedly doesn't even play on the whole thing.

    @codebabe consider the progression of where music has gone. Back then there were a ton of great bands. There were fewer bad bands in the spotlight than there were good bands.
    NOW. there's not a lot of talent anymore. So many new bands today have to cover songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s to have anything worth playing. Every rock band today sounds exactly the same. Some whiney kid brought up in the suburbs emo'ing about how much life sucks and how much you should care for his porblems. :)
