Angel needs to be able to withstand the cold cause higher altitude the colder the temps. That’s why.
Very true. As far as the heat resistance it could possibly be because of thermal vents. That also appear in certain spots in the same altitudes.

I didn't know he had resurrection abilities either. Makes Angel seem real cool.
Your every were
The higher you go into the atmosphere the colder it gets. Depending on Angel's max height when it comes to his flying ability he would need to be able to withstand the cold. Illustrated by the problem in Iron Man where he had to put a special coating on his armor so that he could deal with the icing issue.

Well, if he has bird like abilities, I guess that includes penguins.

Good point, homing is a good power to have and of course penguins can take cold. Being able to mimic is cool. There are other birds besides hawks and eagles might as well use others.

Angel is great especially once he became Archangel loved his powers and nice rich guy personality.
Always had a great amount of respect for Angel. Even when he became Arch-Angel.

he never had healing factor as a angel or when the morlockscut his wings off if he had healing he would accpet sinestro or/and apocalipse to turn him to arcangel. he only was able to fly as angel.

Resurrection Power came after absorbing the Life Seed (Celestials) in the Uncanny X-Force run (Rick Remender).
Also believe wings were still Bio-Metal, but shaped different. Angel's Mind & Genetic Structure got re-written, became younger. Joined Xavier school as a Student (Wolverine & X-Men)
To me Angel have a healing factor just makes sense. I've always felt he should have be a little bit more powerful than he was before the transformation like half of cosmic angel. Also I would think that he would be able to communicate with animals, at the very least birds and winged insects.

He also has Essence Readying, allowing him to c to true nature of those around. Not even a shapeshifter can hid from him and those with psionic shield r not immune cause this isn't a mental power, its spiritual.

Angel upgraded to Archangel, resurrection, connection with forgotten ancients technology. Hi is inspiration to Angels in Heroes III of M&M :-)
I think they could of done better with Angel in the movies , hopefully they do him justice when they introduce them in the MCU

Very good, but can you cite the episodes where Archangel pressed 20 tons please. I don’t remember that at all. You also missed an obscure New Defenders issue where he was able to communicate with a bird.

the Tempture one is fulse, in one story when Angel was in antrtica he had to were a far coat to keep warm, the uniforms the xmen hav are what helps them cope with extream temptures.
