People don't realize what it truly means to be an Omega Level "Weather" creator. Usually Omega's have absolute control of a single energy form... "Weather" comprises Thermokinesis, Cryokinesis, Hydrokinesis, electrokinesis, Oxikinesis, Electromagnatism etc.

I mean there are no omegas that control those forms of energy you mentioned magneto controls ferromagnetism and happens to dabble in electromagnetism and iceman mainly freezes molecules and slows them down it is a more advanced version of cryokinesis like the flash villain cpt cold’s gun and the main energy manipulating omega is vulkan who is bishop on roids with no upper limit to how much he can absorb

Anyone who still has their doubts about Storm, think about someone who's power to manipulate the weather has no limit. Those live action movies did her no justice.

That’s one of the biggest problems with the live action films, they never show how dope Storm is
Anti-Storms and those without knowledge of her will still turn to comicvine, Reddit and other sites to argue her how incapable Storm is especially when it comes to Phoenix, Scarlet Witch, Carol Danvers and sometimes Spectrum they don’t know that Storm is one of the Four Great “I Am” which is I Am Phoenix, I Am Goddess, I Am Binary and I Am Chton. Storm has always been amazing and powerful but I must say that this comic, Al Ewing, has caused me to appreciate him a bit more.
@@Sunsp0t_Lu To be fair, for the most part the versions of storm they were writing (assuming they based it on the era of storm at the time) her powers were still largely pretty dinky and had pretty hefty restrictions on them.
Storm had always had era's where she was a power house, but if we are talking about in terms of scale on the live action. Her powers were proportionally strong to the world around her. She just suffered from live action syndrome and was generally speaking dumber then rocks as a result.

Storm is seriously one of the best superhero characters of all time. Like one of the best comic book characters ever created.
How? She's nothing but a token character. Being the first Black character and a female one in X-Men history at that should amount to something, with powers that matched her creators' perception then of African tribes.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. She is one of a kind. A truly majestic creation, a thoroughly nuanced and relatable character, who’s inspirational as she is irreplaceable. I’ve grown to love the character even more over the years. A true golden nugget.
She isn’t in the top 10. However to the person who says she is a token character, she is not. She has developed over the years. Now however, it seems like she can do no wrong, which is gonna be jarring

2 female Marvel characters everyone sleeps on: Storm from the X Men and Susan Storm from the F4. Both are severely underestimated. Susan Storm is probably the strongest member of the F4.

@vsupreme9386 Sue is one of the most powerful characters on Earth. She was able to handle Celestials temporarily which is a major feat in of itself.
For a mutant that lost her powers for years back in the 80's Storm is super OP now and I love it.

This is how its done!! Storm always deserved this kind of story and power, its literally her character seeing her complete potential.
Not getting a standalone Storm movie is criminal.

Storm (Ororo Monroe) has always been one of my favorite characters. I am absolutely thrilled to see her get her well deserved shine.
Storm has always been my favorite. When I was little it was mainly for the representation but as I got older it was that plus the fact that she is without a doubt an OP BEASt! And the way she always has such a goddess-like clap back waitin for the ops, cmon nah!

This is a beast story. I don’t know if I’ve ever anticipated a next episode story like this when big Apocalypse shows up. Storm in full power is a straight up boss. Please MCU treat her like one. Fox never came close.

I always thought getting into comics was too overwhelming because of the history I would need to catch up on. But because of your channel I caught up on all the basics and even some of the finer details. Now I can't put them down. Let's not forget a drunk and powerless Storm has already defeated Death in X of Swords. But what's more interesting is what Death tells her, that although she declared that she would no longer show mercy, she still did, because she really didn't kill Famine and War. This implies that we haven't really seen a merciless Storm yet.

I like to think storm atleast comic version is a broken character, imagine if she was in NY helping Spiderman or Ironman with their enemies even against Knull she's just a powerhouse, her and Jean Grey both are just broken characters writers don't know what to do with that's why both don't have rivals or main villians 😂

I dont think Uranus is even going to be called out. Storm will agonize about it some but eventually decide to destroy the trigger setting up a future battle between the two. Revelation will be the one who ends the civil war and start a new nation of Uber powerful mutants which Orkis will eventually notice and attack them thus ending the Fall of X storyline bringing on the New Age of Apocalypse

Regarding Uranus it won't feel right to me using it on Mutants. I feel Storm and whoever left else even when in dire straits have to think of the future of their people. Yes times are extremely bad but in no way would I consider Uranus being an option here.
For the longest time I've been waiting for Menace Apocalypse to return 😂. Don't get me wrong I love the character development the krakoa era gave him.. Honestly i was never upset when it was revealed Genesis was a stronger mutant then Apocalypse. I think the fans forget Apocalypse isnt a *Omega LvL Mutant* but he was moreso portrayed as a Omega Lvl Threat in his entire continuity. That last part being key since we know he has tons of abilities and knowledge on specific areas such as magic, celestial tech etc. For me Apocalypse position for Mutants post this story should be akin to a Godfather role. Helping his People as a Patriarch figure. As an external especially i would like him being seen in a position above any of the Councils in a sense. While at the same time not being the official leader but akin to spiritual leader if that makes sense. We could still get this Krakoa era apocalypse+ that OG badass I miss😅...
Also I feel when the mutants get their Lick back on Orchis,Eternals whoever Apocalypse is gonna need to be front and center. That man wasn't there for any of it and gotta make up for it👌🏿
Pretty sure he was Omega Level, but a lot of his abilities aren’t part of his mutant power set. I can’t remember if he was immortal, before getting the Celestial tech or after.
It really depends on the writer, just what powers he has, when telling a story about when he was young, and was still just using his mutant powers to rule.

Apocalypse at his best has complete control over his molecules and a healing factor that's second to none. Uranos only has an hour... A well written Apocalypse would only need to distract him for that time, he doesn't have to win.

My theory is that the projections in the White Hot Room that they are seeing in The Immortal X-Men are from the waking nightmare/time travel shenanigans that Jean is going through right now. The throwback Apocalypse is a dead giveaway. Now that we have the real Apocalypse showing up, I'm even more convinced.

@wingeddragonra3953 I get it. Although Storm admits to doing her best work in an atmosphere, she becomes more dangerous when she has to be more versatile. When dealing with cosmic level beings, Storm taps more into the elemental nature or her abilities, which goes far beyond the weather. Once you start manipulating elements on the periodic table chart, it's all about skill, training, and willpower. I think some consider this cheating as she's supposed to be just a weather goddess, but can't a girl grow. Same as how some telekinetics can manipulate molecules, and others can't, and they just move objects around.

Oh, Revelation came out of a Okarra gate seed like what he gave Genesis to use.
He planted one for the Great Ring front door, gave Genesis one to use, which she did @ Port Prometheus, and now he using his seed where Vulcan was imprisoned!!!!! Great BUILDUP to connect it all!!! Yayy Revalation is FINALLY home to get his mutant family and Island back together😂😭

You feel Storm is too powerful. I feel like she is finally getting credit where it is due. How many decades have the fans sat around while she showed only 1/1000th of this power? I will go further to even say if this was a stand alone movie and she was allowed to to do everything in this comic, there wouldn’t be a Deadpool 4 talks but rather more tales of “the storm.”

People don't realize Storm was leader of the X-Men and Xaviers main pupil whose powers were very hard to control in the original comics. Storm only weakness is claustrophobia. And that weakness comes from her childhood. Storm literally would've beat Phoenix but when she loses control she would decimate everything. They better bring Justice to the Queen and the Love between Black Panther and her was so deep she was tame leaving the X-Men. I hope they cast a staturest beautiful woman to play her like the girl from Queen & Slim she'll be perfect. We need a Angela Bassett stage presence. I wish we could've seen Angela play Storm in the original script that Wesley Snipes had for Black Panther in the 90s it would've been awesome. Sucked that companies totally passed on it in 1995. But Blade saved the MC and is a Classic. Also next Wolverine has to be no taller on screen than 5'8 we need a short Logan.

I watched this nostalgically because this book was the best thing going. Out of everything from the krakoan era, this book was everything.
I don't see how any of Apocalypse's kids are omega level, their powers reach an indefinable upper limit that can't be measured and can't be surpassed? I don't know... I've seen Human Torch do more impressive things than War, for example. Death and Pestilence seem very limited also, death needs to make visual contact, Pestilence needs make contact with her arrows, those powers can't and haven't been surpassed?
I agree. The title definitely fooled me. Because each of horseman seem like alpha mutant at best. Not to say they are dangerous and powerful. But omegas, I think not. Unless they have some other powers, each of them seems very limited in specific aways. And there are many other marvel characters with similar powerset that can rival if not surpass what we have seen.
I like how ouranos is like "we can do this the easy way or the easier way.. The choice is yours"

Magneto didn't die completely by Uranos he kept himself alive for a time, long enough to get revenge. So glad my favorite villain showed up by the end of this. Apocalypse 🏆✊🍿🥤😎

It’s impossible for me to overstate how much I enjoyed that Dallas Cowboys burn.
