- Wow, this is an amazing model with lots of opening features and ALL diecast. I am very impressed with this model and I would have to say that this model is a strong contender for model of the year!

As always great review Rob. LCD have done a great job and Value for Money, from packing to the actual model. Spot on i would say. Got the red one, and it is fantastic to say.
I just wish LCD comes up with more variety of models soon without compromising on the quality, when they can do Pagani's they should also do some Koenigsegg's too.
Been looking forward to this review Rob, you nailed it! I think AA don't deserve success anymore. They're cheating out the quality of their models and selling on the reputation that they used to have. Their prices are so ludicrous it's ridiculous. I hope ARM and LCD come out with a large range of models.

I purchased this same model only in red and the front clamshell fits perfectly.

I have a very good personality, play the car very gently, but you hold the car and close it, I find the quality of the car very good value

I own the latest generation composite Autoart Pagani Huayra BC (not the roadster) and the old diecast Autoart Huayra. The LCD version sits far above the composite version but a tad below the Autoart diecast in terms of engine detail. But for the price, I am a definite fan of the LCD and ordered the white to join my candy red version ... looking for the violet. I hope we can get more information of what they would be releasing in the future.

Autoart have some stiff competition now. Hopefully they up their game, as of recent they haven't been wowing me, especially at the higher prices their charging now.
I agree, I have not really wanted to buy any AUTOart models lately either, they are getting very expensive and for me, nearly the same price as a BBR. But this LCD model shows it is still possible to make a fully opening diecast at a realistic price
They dont even make diecast anymore, just fancy plastic ones

With all the detail they've put into this model, it's shocking that they could miss the front clamshell fit. Still, a tremendous model for the price!
Love it, first time I’ve heard of that company. Also would’ve been way better if it was all exposed carbon, with black wheels and red calipers! But that’s just my imagination running wild
This model it's fantastic in details, heavy with excellent quality, I bought the Red candy and I was fascinated by the color of the paint, and the carbon fiber with a glossy finish, just as you did not like the separation of the left front part and the gold wheels, but I like how they look on the white Huayra, I would like to buy another and swap of wheels, I hope you make a video tutorial on how to remove the wheels on this model, greetings Rob

Not a fair comparison though as one is sealed resin and one is fully opening diecast.
Awesome Review. Considering PAGANI HUAYRA by GT Autos costs a lot less, do you think this LCD model has a lot going for it? I already have the GT autos Huayra. I am thinking of the Red Huayra roadster by LCD. But I am not sure if there is so much more of detail in LCD model to get that one too. what do you think?

Looks great, one thing that bothers me is the use of glossy white paint on the seats ... that should be leather look, so not that glossy
But you all forget one thing - BBR & Almost Real had years of experience in die-cast behind, LCD is new on the market, and it is a possibility as their models to have a lot a paint rash in few years
They should make one either in yellow or flash pink
I would buy 2...a red one and a white one then which the wheels..put the gold ones on the red and the silver ones on the white

Great model but I am disturbed by the two different wheels on each side.
Also these models sell for about 250,- euros in german shops.
So faaaaar away from your 165,- but still cheaper then AA or AR.
Question:
LCD MODELS Makes this Huayras in the convertible version only, while GTAutos makes Huayras in the version I like best, the one with doors thar rise like Lamborghini. Am I missing on the version with Lamborghini type doors made by LCD ?, or is it LCD do not make this version of Huayras ?

Why are the descriptions on the tires in different colors on the left and right?
Because on Pagani's they have a different color wheel and different color tyre marking on each side.

I have bought the AUTOart version Huayra BC NOT Roadster, but I found that it doesn't have working suspensions, doesn't have the luggage space, rear spoiler couldn't open, the openings were a little bit flimsy, and the Pagani logo on the wheels were just stickers, I think the price is too high for a composite model, if they continue with composite and with such high price, sooner or later they will go bankrupt.
AUTOart models are just not worth the asking price anymore. Check out the center console switches on your model, there are not enough toggle switches like the real car, molded plastic carbon fiber? Spend a little extra on a BBR resin for the most accurate models, or buy the LCD if you want opening model. AUTOart models now are a rip off for what you get for US$300+

Rob have you ever bought those models that are sold at Pagani Factory? I bought the cheap version and it was horrible quality. But then there is also _very_ expensive version with all the right materials etc. Actually I have two of those cheaper ones and they are disappointing in lack of detail. I hope this price bracket model was available, crazy good value, when you took the luggage out, I was fully expecting there was eatable real lunch box inside that.
I live in Australia, so the Pagani factory is very far from me.
@@ROBSMODELCARS However it is 100000% worth visiting. You will remember that visit for rest of the life. You should go as long as the man is still there. Think about would you have rather gone to Ferrari when Enzo was still around, or Lamborghini when Ferrucio was and leading the company. Or afterwards. I do not mean about meeting the guy, but the company is pure essence when lead by original visionar. Carbonfiber works is just out of this world. Lots to see and hear both at original factory and new one.

Problem is in europe these cars are 300 euros and more and they were maybe 250 who was lucky to get them..

I just saw a video on TH-cam of the new Pagani Huayra Roadster from AutoArt, and i can tell you that the panel gaps are more bad on the AutoArt then on lcd roadster, so keep this one you already have and save your money on the AutoArt one, and use those money on some other model car. Thats my advise to you. Specially the gaps on the front of the AutoArt one is really bad. You can take a look on it to, and you will see what i mean.
I am pretty much done with AUTOart, unless they make something I really like and no one else makes it, then I will consider it.
Yes i agree with you 100%. I have only the ones made of diecast myself. Thankfully there are still some that can make good diecast car. I wish AutoArt could go back to the good old days again. But i dont think that will happend for a very long time or even never. Very sad in a way for us that has collected model cars for 20 year +
the car looks mostly very nice but i just cant get past the mismatched panel, thats a total deal breaker for me. worst thing is its not isolated to yours but every single one of these ive seen exhibits the same flaw! if these guys get their qc together, theyll definitely be a force

being from the US I’m frequently buying AutoArt models because they make American cars like the Ford GT and Mustang Shelby, Camaro, Corvettes and some Dodge models coming soon but I also collect European and Japanese cars and I’m really considering ditching AutoArt for companies like Almost Real and LCD Models for those specific models, right now the only thing AutoArt does better than anyone are the tires other than that 👎🏻
True Autoart have a larger range of models to choose from, but more and more collectors are not happy with Autoart and their pricing. This LCD model shows that they can still make a fully detailed opening model for a lot cheaper price. Autoart went to plastic to make more money, that is it, not for accuracy or quality improvements.
