Excellent review, I’ve always liked the close up shots to highlight the details that you’re talking about on the model. That shout-out/mention at the end for my comment on what those sponsors on the side mean (on the unboxing video for this model) caught me by surprise, that’s much appreciated!
I have been waffling as to whether I should get one of these off ebay (didn't know about it till a few months ago). This review has convinced me to use a gift card to offset the inflated price and get it.
first of all great job on the intensely detailed review just awesome! is it me though or does the clearcoat look quite roughly applied? as the camera panned many times the reflections never looked smooth at all. AR did a very good job on this but it still seems comfortably outdone by many AUTOart signatures. still in todays climate of shitty resin and AUTOart plastic this is a refreshing and most welcome model to the hobby!
How? They haven't released their Huayra Roadster yet? Do you mean the LCD one? If so, I can assure you the AR Zonda F is a step up from the LCD Huayra Roadster. Mind you, the LCD Huayra BC Roadster is also a step up!

Nice model. I'm not sure if you noticed but the rear right wheel looks crooked and is pointing inwards (toe in) which affects the stance of the model. It seems like a common issue happening to these AR Zondas.. Does the wheel wobble when you roll it?
Sharp eyes! We didn't notice it, but it's quite minor in real life. We'll try rolling it to see if it wobbles. It's quite challenging to find a 100% perfect model with them being so detailed and with opening/moving parts.
I personally see the pagani zonda f from almost real as a great alternative to the know very expensive pagani zonda from autoart and now would be the time to get a zonda from almost real because chances are as we all have seen with other models,the zonda f from almost real will go up eventually

I expect these to shoot up in price on the secondary market, however, as Almost Real said they were doing the first batch in limited numbers, and the anticipation for this model is quite high
Pretty tricky this. The AA Signature Pagani Huayra commanded less money back in the day when it was released. Both models are comparable in terms of detail and engineering; it really depends on whether you are a fan of the Zonda or the Huayra.
As far as I know, there’s the 2011 Tricolore (blue), the 2009 Cinque and Cinque roadster (white) and this 2005 Zonda F (grey). There’s also a non-road going 2013 Revolución in exposed carbon fibre (dark grey). These are based on model car retailers who are of course informed before the models are actually released for sale. Yet to hear from Almost Real regarding this, as mentioned in the video it took ages for this one to finally come out and I wouldn’t be surprised if we are talking years or several months before these are readily available.
Very surprised to see that you guys haven't reviewed the LCD pagani huayra yet.. has metal wheels and air filling valves on every wheel.. the carbon fiber is so glossy and to scale! Even the lights and the light surrounds are of far better quality and finish than this.. also do check out this upcoming pagani Zonda barchetta blue carbon by LCD models! 🙂

I'm a keen observer and have an eye for detail! I'm not easily sold by hype. If that's called being a hater then it shows your level and capability to perceive what's right in front of you.
Front is not straight on the lower facia. I saw this going for 400+ US, NO WAY I'd pay that for this model. It better be perfect for that kind of money honey.
for this price point tho i do think it’s unacceptable that there is no carbon weave on the inside of the trunk and engine clamshell, just flat black plastic. it looks cheap and lazy. LCD did the same thing

The LCD has had actual working wishbone suspension from a long time ago.. so sturdy and accurately made.

Our close-ups sometimes don't flatter models but in real life and viewed without a magnifying glass it looks good to us.

Yeah it's always good for another brand to push the boundaries, keeps Autoart on their toes we think. Especially when it's fully diecast.

The finish on the exhaust isn't supposed to be the same as on the AA Huayra's one, the finish of this model is actually accurate to the real car
yeah i believe the huayra's started showing the blue exhaust, the zonda is an older pagani

Yea prices of models are going up and up and we don't see any sign of easing. We just hope more model brands like AR and LCD keep upping the ante.
