Hey I’m watching this on an iPad Pro wanted to wait for this but it doesn’t seem like an upgrade I like the iPads power but man iPad os is very limiting…
I'm absolutely loving my Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, liking it more each day I use it, and I'm looking forward to giving it a try when I travel to Dreamhack Stockholm on the plane, using it in the hotel etc. But now I want the S10 Ultra. Dammit. I need to stop watching tech videos they're costing me a fortune lmao. Great vid as always
Lolol. Bro. If you enjoy what you have take that step back. Do your budget. Prioritize the important things. If no debt, if savings up, if you then have a little fun money, save and get what you really want. BUT if you aren't there or maybe you won't be for months or years don't stress. Best to just take a step back and marvel at how good what you have is now. I was using the Galaxy A35 with the same chip for weeks and it was good. Same chip as the fe models. I've rocked many fes. They are great. So enjoy the ride.
I just got mine the other day. Trading in my 9 Ultra and got it for $300. That anti reflective screen is so good. I can use it in my bright living room no problem now 😅
I did not think upgrading from my TAB S8 Ultra was worth it, until I saw that Samsung offered me $750 for it, and 50% off the keyboard cover. I just could not refuse. So far, the experience is almost the same with one major exception: The anti-reflective coating is a game-changer for me, since my living room and office is super bright. If it wasn't for the trade-in value, I wouldn't have gotten it.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra did not live up to my expectations due to its size and lack of maneuverability for daily use, so I returned it to Samsung after 14 days of practice. For tasks such as taking notes, multitasking, presenting plans to customers, reading in bed or watching content and TH-cam videos, the Galaxy Tab S10+ is a more balanced choice because it is lighter and more manageable, and it remains powerful enough for office automation, making it a better alternative for more versatile use. I don't regret changing the format, because the Galaxy Tab S10+ is just perfect!
That's what I said in my Tab S10 Plus impressions!!! And in this video. So anyway, check it out if you haven't. Official full review will be coming in the next couple weeks
I traded in my 128GB Tab S8 Ultra for the 512GB S9 Ultra because it only cost me $199 after trade in. Unless I get a deal that good on the S10 Ultra for the same amount of storage, I'm probably going to stick with the S9 Ultra. Even with a deal that good, it'd be hard to give up SnapDragon. I do a lot of emulation on my tablet and SnapDragon is king, so I'd probably run into a lot of issues with the higher end of emulation on its MediaTek processor.
Bro the s9 ultra will get ya $800 off if you trade in. Though the performance difference is in the 20% give or take range. Up to you man, think about it for a week or two before you commit to the upgrade :)
@GordonLittell Exactly my point. I'd be paying $400 (+100 in tax) for a tablet with half the storage that would perform worse in my main use case (emulation) because it doesn't have a SnapDragon processor anymore. That is not worth it to me.
@@GordonLittell 100%. It's probably better for normal users, and I'm sure the battery life is impressive, but the GPU performance just isn't there. Now, if Samsung had passed on the savings from choosing a Mediatek processor to the customer, then it'd be a different story. But charging a SnapDragon premium for no SnapDragon is wild.
My Tab S10 plus just arrived, I haven't unboxed it and am within the return period. I am confused about upgrading to Tab S10 ultra for the difference in brightness and the thin bezels. The Tab S10 plus bezels looks old and bigger in videos. Is it so? Is the bezel in S10 plus too much especially when comparing to the competition? Also should I upgrade to Tab S10 ultra?
I'm upgrading from my tab s9 ultra😂 i only need to pay around 200dollars with my tab s9 ultra as a trade in. And i am getting the slim and book keyboard included for that price. Yea 2 keyboards 😅 Btw im living in Sweden.
I got the Tab S10 Ultra for $410 after tax. Traded in my S8 Ultra and bought the book cover keyboard (with trackpad) at full price. Is that a good deal?
You should get the book cover free if you have the employee or student discount. I do work for Ford so I have discount However, you can create account on student beans ( using school/college/uni ID even if you're alumni it would work just fake the graduation date)
Well, it's a great deal on the tablet. Depending on the county they were giving the SLIM keyboard cover free or for $100. But that was limited. On the tablet alone I say that's a great deal. Because the S8 Ultra on the used market is only worth $400ish. You got well above that in a trade. The keyboard. Well. It's a bad value at full price. You could check some websites used or something. Use the one from the s9 ultra which is the same but no ai keep. Maybe you'd save some money going used. But then it's still used. I paid full price for my white s10 Plus keyboard. I get it. Not a bad deal at all when you factor in what you got for the s8 ultra
@@AndroidDigest You are awesome buddy thank you! I'm not going to lie, I don't think the keyboard is worth $350 BUT it has been so useful for me to have. I also love the many different view angles and holding the tablet without the keyboard, it feels amazing lol. I didn't get the Slim because I wanted the trackpad. I actually like using the keyboard in regular tablet mode instead of Dex haha idk why! I think I may keep it and trade in my S8 Ultra (still sitting around in case I change my mind and decide to return my S10 Ultra lol)
I traded in an s9 plus 512 for a s10 Ultra 512. ONLY reason was Samsung had an exclusive offer with free keyboard a 199 value and 700 trade in for s9 plus.. The extra screen is great for movies but other than that it's, ehh.
I had the S10 Ultra and traded it in for the S10+. Go for the S10+. It's nice to be able to use it in landscape or portrait mode and still have a fairly large screen to use it as a laptop with a keyboard in Dex mode.
I'm hoping you did a return and not a trade 😂. But I've been heading people say that a lot. Check my S10 Plus review. I mention just that. Your experience is pretty normal
Isn't it mostly the same but with different chip , that I like snap dragon more, and that the Galaxy ai which some of them also came to s9 so,,, yeah and just a white color case keyboard case with one new key like don't upgrade.
I mean I talked about all that in the video. Similar but a few minor changes. Yeah. Not worth it to everyone. But still, the best tablet on android imo
The Fold 6 is even MORE expensive if you don't have anything to trade in. The S10 Ultra doesn't force close 1080p+ videos like the S9 Utra does. I had that problem daily. They are NOT the same. For media consumption, younger high-quality chips for such a big screen. Good luck switching to another task from even just youtube. When you go back to youtube, the video processor can't keep it into memory. Trust me. I used to scream having to search for mylostplaces in video apps miltipletimes. Best watch it on your S24. Do not buy an s9 or an s8 for a good deal. It is a head ache deal. Buy an s24 or a tab s10. The gen 2 chip is weak.
@JamesThomas-dn6ee Read again. I have an iPhone 15pro Max, Galaxy S24u, tab 9u and tab10u. The tab 9u is on its way out for a trade-in to Samsung. It force closes all of my app I use to watch TV. I don't own a TV. The video chip cannot handle those programs in HD and above. Non of the other devices force close. Whay must the problem be using reasoning. This is my advice. These things are very expensive. I would try and listen to people who have used the products long term on a daily basis. Only we can tell you our experiences.
@JamesThomas-dn6ee hey. Everything is fine with it isn't more than HD, but when I change the resolution to 1440 (2k) or 4k, it can not handle the task. Other apps are Directv, Max (HBO Max) and Paramount+. Sometimes, the videos within TH-cam will just turn black. Then, I have to force close TH-cam and open it back. Other times, within the video apps, the words will stop lining up to the mouths. That is VERY annoying. 🤭 I traded in the s9u for $1,000 to Samsung to hey the s10U. I no longer have these video problems. The only problem I am having at this moment is the slow satélite internet my mom has on our farm while I'm here visiting. I stay out of the country, so my technology HAS to be reliable. It takes me 3 months to get back home here to fix things. To have a video processor that doesn't work when it is my only way to watch my shows in English is BS!
350 bucks for the crappiest Keyboard any OEM is making. The stand is flimsy, if you stand the tab up high and use the touch screen it will extend the bottom mount and tip over. This keyboard compared to the Apple Magic Keyboard is one of Samsungs biggest fails in the tab market. Its just complete crap. For people that are Samsung only fans have to see and use the magic keyboard to know what I am talking about.
I wouldn't have such a strong opinion. The stand is well built and of course a kickstand tips over if it's barely stood up. BUT I think it's well good. HOWEVER. As I stated in the video, you are right. The keyboard accessories aren't as good as the magic keyboard. And I know a lot of people are wanting more from Samsung here. So I wouldn't say it's crap. But I would say it's overpriced and they can do better
@@AndroidDigest compared to the Magic Keyboard, do you really think the Samsung KB is worth 350.00? Not even close. Check out the Dexnor Keyboard, the back piece with the stand is 10 times better however the keyboard is awful and is too heavy. I have considered using the Samsung KB and the Dexnor back stand. To be clear, the Tab is amaze balls!
I came from an iPad Pro 11 with a Magic Keyboard to the Tab S10 Ultra. Yeah the keyboard case is flimsy, but there are real tradeoffs like it being much lighter. The Magic Keyboard is stiff enough that I can confidently carry it with 1 hand on the corner of the keyboard. With the Samsung keyboard (without trackpad version) I feel like it's flexing way too much so I just hold it by the tablet instead of the keyboard. Now I haven't weighed these two but I swear the 11" iPad with Magic keyboard weighs significantly MORE than the S10 Tab Ultra with the keyboard case (non trackpad). So I believe Samsung could make it less flimsy but I think it'd come with lots of extra weight. So I'm actually not unhappy about the keyboard, except that it's not backlit and the Fn-lock light is so damn bright.
The S22 ran horribly for me, I believe it was the 8 Gen 1 chip's fault since it was fabbed by Samsung. I upgraded to the S24 with the 8 Gen 3 which is fabbed by TSMC this time and it runs cool and fast, no complaints. For the Tab S10 I'm pleasantly surprised, but maybe I shouldn't be since it's also on TSMC.
Watching from tab S9 ultra 😂
Nothing wrong with that
Saaaaame ❤

The 7 years of OS updates is a great upgrade over the 3+4 of the S9 series. I wish they start offering a 16 GB RAM model for the Plus model
Yeah I wish they would have made a 16GB Plus model too. That would have been great.
I upgraded from a Tab A8 and I'm loving it. I do a lot of video editing while traveling and it performs very well.
That's a MASSIVE upgrade. assuming that wasn't a typo. Well done! A big upgrade from the s8. But if you really meant a8, this upgrade is astronomical
Awesome review. i have been wondering about the comparison between the 9 and 10 series.
Awesome. Glad it helped! And happy that you enjoyed it

Hi, what about the oleophobic coating? Does it even exist on the s10 ultra? How good is it?
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra did not live up to my expectations due to its size and lack of maneuverability for daily use, so I returned it to Samsung after 14 days of practice.

S10+ has unnecessarily thick bezels thought :/ You might as well get S9 FE+ from Samsung outlet for 1/3rd the s10 price then.
The tab S10+ is still way too big for anyone that's concerned with maneuverability.
I traded in my 128GB Tab S8 Ultra for the 512GB S9 Ultra because it only cost me $199 after trade in. Wow, I don't even understand the point of this video I am watching here now 🤣
I don't think it has the same anti-glare treatment as the s24 ultra, the screen on this tablet reflects more than the S 24 ultra
