I still don’t understand why they rushed this thing out the door when the 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400 are just around the corner. Samsung electing to cost cut for the sake of a quick cash grab is a very confusing move.
Because let's be real here, even tab s8 ultra has more than enough power to 98 percent of users, other 2% just need a pc. So chipsets is not a bottleneck for last few years.. software is. And samsung is industry leader in this like it or not
@@MrPoliarinis at that price they are charging though, that should’ve been running the most modern flagship chipset. If Apple doesn’t get a pass for using a 60hz display on a 2024 iPhone then Samsung shouldn’t also get a pass for using outdated chips while charging flagship prices.
I'm enjoying my Tab S10 Ultra with 2TB micro SD and Wi-Fi 7 which is 5 times faster than the WiFi 6 on the iPad pro. Endless collection of 4K movies and series anywhere anytime. Perfect aspect ratio for videos. Peace of mind with IP68 rating.
My theory on why they released the tablet early is that the failure of Samsung's 3nm process for the Exynos 2500 means it wouldn't be available in time for the Tab S10 launch in February. Faced with the choice of using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (8 Extreme) in devices that sell in low volumes, they decided to release the product early and use a chip that would be considered outdated soon after. This decision prioritizes profits over customer satisfaction, which is a valid business choice. Some users may understandably feel upset, especially when considering that iPad users receive the M4 chip before even MacBook owners. Regarding the S10 Ultra, if you already own a previous model, there aren’t many compelling reasons to upgrade. For newcomers, the UK price of £1,200 ($1,500) for the base model is quite steep. With the Dimensity chip available and being a tech-savvy person, I prefer to choose the superior iPad Pro, which features TandemOLED (with twice the brightness) and the M4 master chip.
What makes these videos unwatchable is that the person says the name of the device in its full over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over I forgot actually why I stopped watching reviews.... I don't know if you're getting paid every time you say it or you're getting moved up the queue every time you say it but it's sickening and I'm done again maybe in 3 years from now I'll forget again...
How about an update? I have Samsung Galaxy S10 Ultra and iPad Air 11"... and a Surface Pro. Yes, I'm a tablet freak! 😄 I have a mini Windows PC too. I use it as a do-it-all computer. Why do I need so many tablets? Each one has its uses, but this mini review is about the Samsung. I thought a different angle may benefit those who need yet another review. First, its size is perfect for my lap. When she is there, the keyboard is somewhere else. When she is reunited with the keyboard, I don't need a computer. This is almost as good as one. Yes, there are missing bits, but I never code on a tablet or use specialized software like UML tools and such. So, it handles all the remaining bits whether it be office apps, video apps or apps that have to do with audio. Did I tell you about the video and audio quality? This is better than my TV. That's for sure! I use iPad only on the go... meaning I'm not going to give a lecture or anything. Because in that case Samsung is the one I pick. Also, there is nothing like Garage Band or iMovie for that matter, anywhere else. Other than those, who needs an iPad? You know what, although it has the best pen experience, I haven't touched my Surface Pro for a while... and that tells something.
it because the iPad release, Samsung likes to keep people talking about em even when they release same thing. iPad Pro m2 is more powerful already, than release the iPad m4 is like a different beast now, you can't compare it to any tablet anymore it just not fair, it rivals gaming laptop now and beats best intel overclocked cpu in single core performance.
Yes it's the most powerful tablet... to watch youtube. It will only be worth it when they start to port desktop apps somehow, other than that, it's a waste of performance.
I am getting it. Samsung has crazy trade in offers. I traded in a tab s8 ultra that i grab at auction for $280 to snag the tab s10 ultra for $249.99. I did the same thing for the galaxy watch ultra. Traded in a watch 5 pro to get the Watch ultra for $94.
7.1 million units sold in just 1 quarter of the year. Clearly, some folks like android tabs. They might even....brace yourself....they might even think Android tabs are better🤯🤪😜😂🤣
Sadly i was looking to upgrade from the tab s7, but seeing how it has a mediatek chip i gave up, i got bad experience when it comes to mediatek and software suport in the long run.
that's not the problem with it the problem is that it's a phone chip in a 16k tablet why are they still using arm instead of AMD's mobile chips is beyond me
I bought the tab s10+ yesturdag upgraded from the tab s7fe so this is my first flagship device and I promise u IT HAS NOT LAGGED ONCE, when playing 4k hdr10+ videos or even playing call of duty not one stutter, i tried using 2 apps open at once, while watching a 4k vid and still no stutter it's worth it man
Are you sure you didn't get a defect? My S10+ works greatly, I use 20 percent brightness and i get 10-11 hours with power saving on browsing the web. It varies on if you have power saving on and brightness and what you do.
i don't see the point of getting this tablet. It's priced similar to a decent laptop, something that can do way more than this tablet. It's also not portable at all, you'll get tired quickly holding this tablet. It's just so overratedd.
@lix88440000 tab s10+ is more than enough for most people. The point of a tablet is the portability, and tab s10 ultra is not. Also this thing is really thin.
@andrewwebber2792 i just ordered this tonight. It's big, very thin and very expensive. So ya, I think I'm going to buy the MOST durable, thickest, strlesest case for it.
I have had an S8 Ultra for 2 years and I truly cannot tell you why the Ultras exist, they do not know if they want to be tablets or laptops, from what I hear about iPads, it's the same thing, tablets are horrible as standalone devices, there is only so much you can do with a tablet, it's meant to be a phone or laptop companion at best and I think this is where Apple and Samsung get really confused.
the tab s7 is better than the best iPad there is literally nothing the iPad has over any android tablet with a flagship phone chip that is 1 third the power of the apple M chips. iPad os is simply that bad

@arondyte318 yep, they should have used the elite or the rumored sd8 gen 4
@@antraxbeta23the sd8 gen 4 is the new 8 elite. I think you are confusing it with the X elite

Every year Samsung put the old processor in the New tablet

Still no 5G for the US variant? Or one on the way?

The S10 Ultra tablet ISN'T a bad tablet at all.

"Beats the best Intel overclocked CPU" 😂😂😂
You obviously have no idea
GREAT REVIEW BRO 👍👍👍👍
1 TB of this one or Surface Pro 11 Elite Qualcomm Adreno 16 GB RAM 512 GB?
Headroom for future... and still no proper multitasking. Ipad is a glorified toilet device while taking sh#^. And ir never be even mediocre tool
Couldn't agree more. Sheep's excuses are the same every year...
Using a Mediatek processor is an interesting move, but IMO, the processor is probably not the place to look for MFG cost savings. Great review though.
Why not?!
Just don't know who's paying that much for an android tablet
Not me. But I do have Tab S8 Ultra for $500
Because I wanted that bigger display.

Software is 7 years OS and Security, Mediatek 9300+ is actually better than 8 Gen 2, just my opinion btw
@@youtube_stuff1248 bruh it's just the emulation support + price that makes the tablet trash

Samsung’s been acting weird since DJ Koh left.
Didn't get it
It needs usb4
My s10 plus has very bad battery life and I can't return it cause I sent a S9FE in exchange. Would gladly take my FE back.

Mediatek 🤢
Agreed 👍🏼 - basically a mobile 📱 phone chip 🍟 in a very large tablet - under whelming performance 🎭
@wanderingsoul8399you re both wrong, I got the tablet and it s way better the most snapdragons
