Just because you get more income from real estate in Bengaluru, you cannot concentrate all of the state's income to development of Bengaluru. Bangalore contributes a large share of revenue as compared to other districts. The state Govt. distributes this money across the state. For example, MGNEGA, Anna Bhagya, Gruha Laxmi and other anti-poverty schemes benefit North Karnataka more than the South because the schemes are targeted to the poor and there are more of them in those areas. It is not easy to develop industry. What can be done is to create an environment in which industry can flourish. This is what happened in Bangalore. Hubli-Dharwar-Belgaum has good educational facilities; maybe that can be an advantage. Gulbarga is near to Hyderabad and maybe that can be an advantage, much like Hosur has developed due to its proximity to Bangalore.

Nice video and thanks for talking on this subject.but this express way alone can't bring change in whole North Karnataka. We need Bidar to Bengaluru Greenfield express way too. If we succeed building these two express ways in next 4-5 years we can really expect gradual changes in the region. We had asked for AIIMS for raichur but Modi govt is silent on this. They had promised so many things in 2014&19 but haven't delivered much. Our MP's are clueless and and don't know much about local problems. And the continuous ignorance by Bengaluru and Delhi govts and fake promises lead to this day. Hope you make more videos on this issue. 🙏

Unfortunately funds released to these districts are way more than southern part, SOURCE RTI: but all the funds are deviated to politicians and their relations, till 2003 before digitalising thousands of crores were hoax bills raised and these politicians enjoyed at the cost of developing these districts, even southern districts were developed only during Mysore king period these politicians have ruined our lives, yeddi and siddu are close friends remember ...

A complete paradigm shift needs to occur in the current governance scenario. A primate city concept (Bengaluru) cannot sustain all the growth and it's has to be distributed, there are so many candidates Like from Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Belgavi, Bagalkot, Hubli, Chitradurga, Hospet that have the potential to become big but are neglected as usual. Coatsal towns like Karwara, MAngaluru, Kundapura too have a huge potential, but all the state government is cared is about Bengaluru, Ramanagar, Bidadi, Mysore and at MAX Kolar and Tumkuru. This step motherly treatment has to end if we have to grow as a state! god knows when will it end!!!!???????

If you study projects carefully, you will observe that there is a lot of investment across the state - Mangalore power projects and refineries and port infrastructure, Karwar has Seabird naval base and another new deep water port is coming up nearby, Dharwar has IIT, IIIT, a rapid bus transport between the two cities, new rail lines between Gadag and northern towns. A large military-nuclear complex has been established in Chitradurga, Raichur/Hospet had tremendous mining potential that was looted by the Reddy brothers and multple Govt. allowed it to happen.

From the only gold mine in Raichur, to the Dal capital of our state (Gulbarga), from the Foundry-Agri stronghold in Belgavi to Coco products based industries in Tumkur, From Oil refineries in Mangalur to Oil seed industries of Challakere! From the chilli industried in Haveri district to the Solar farms of Pavagada....i can name multiple industries that have a huge role to play in each of these districts! What we do need now is good infrastructure (Mangaluru-Bangaluru Road gosh when will it be ready!?) , Belgavi-Hubballi Track (British built still!), Bidar-Gulbarga-Koppala-Davanagere line (when will it be ready?), Dharwad bypass (ongoing work-let's see where it goes). We as people need to pressurise the politicians and get these projects ready! and other cities don't lack Human resources, they do have them! It's all the dirty world of politics and WE AS PEOPLE that are responsible!
@@sharathjbhushi3747 Blaming politics for everything is a copout. Maybe there isn't an economic justification for many infrastructure projects (like UKP that involves enormous land requirement and capital), maybe the price is too high (like the Hubli Ankola line that is cutting through evergreen forests), perhaps the state wants the center to take responsibility (like the Shiradi ghat tunnel), maybe there is fierce local opposition for a road project (as is the case in Dharwad), and so on. Perhaps there are projects that need a smaller investment but generate a bigger payout.
First people's mindset shud get changed.

If bijapur wants to join in it would be more sweet. We can smoothly integrate businesses and Agriculture. To new heights.
