Delhi is a Punjabi UP Bihari city
      Nobody speaks English
Infact most seem to hate English
Especially if you look indian ( esp south indian or expatriate indian) and speak English because you don't know Hindi you are likely to be countered with " being indian why you don't know hindi" statements or looks
Even at star hotels and other multinationalistic and multicultural places where English is needed the true international ambience is missing
People certainly are not helpful and friendly to tourists visitors etc in Delhi
Most localites in shops streets public transport offices appear stressed aggressive or they are completely detached
Delhities lack proper knowledge of other places cultures etc

the reason Kannadigas are so proud is because they have a very long and rich history. Since at least the 2nd century CE, Karnataka was ruled by native Kannadiga dynasties, such as the Kadambas, Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas, Hoysalas, Vijaynagaras, and finally the Mysore Kingdom which was overtaken by the British in the 1800s and finally incorporated into India in 1947. Some of these empires, like the Rashtrakutas, even stretched as far as the foothills of the Himalayas. Kannada language has a rich literary history going back thousands of years, and has produced many works of poetry, sagas, and religious works. It has been home to some of the most dazzling, wealthy cities in history, such as Hampi, Srirangapata, Mysore and others. More recently, we are proud of the success of Bengaluru as one of India (and the worlds) top tech/startup hubs. Kannadigas are known for thinking progressively and being adventurous, and nowhere else is this spirit on better display than Bengaluru.

Bangaluru, also known as Bengaluru (in Kannada) is the capital of the Indian State of Karnataka. Bangalore is nicknamed the Garden City and was once called a Pensioner's Paradise. Located on the Deccan Plateau in the south-eastern part of Karnataka, Bangalore is India's third most populous city. There are a number of expats from across the world living in the city, thanks to the growing presence of Multi-National Companies.

Ik ben een Bangalorean maar nu ben ik een Nederlander. Ik woon in Amstelveen. Bangalore is mijn geboorteplaats.
I wish you to go and visit places around Bangalore like Nandi Hills early in the morning and more further to place around Mysore or Hassan. You will fall in love with the nature. Slowly entire Karnataka and south India to understand the richness of India history and culture and nature.
Bangalore in 1990 was mini south India, people used to settle down because of govt jobs,
2000s it became mini India , due to IT industry.
2020 it is a mini world due to culture , open hearted people and fun and happening place.
    Welkom bij Namme Bengaluru

Hiiii, I’m a native Bangalorean and currently study in Europe and back to Bangalore now for a couple of months due to covid , I’m so proud of being a Bangalorean cause why not right one of the coolest city and people in the world . It’s underrated in Indian tourism spectrum but incredibly happening and hipster culture with blending mix of students , startup studs , international American influences and sexy food, awesome pubs and the best weather that amplifies each and every day in the city .

Bangalore does have one of the best weathers in the world...even now when it's so much hotter than it was in our childhood (in the 70s and 80s, you didn't even need a fan in Bangalore!). Much of Bangalore's problems came ironically with the IT boom and Silicon Valley tag...while the lifestyles improved and people became more affluent, the cost of living went up (one of the more expensive cities of India), the pollution and traffic skyrocketed, and the weather became much hotter. Hope with Covid and more work-from-home options, the traffic will reduce one day and perhaps even result in a little reverse migration.

I visited Bangalore early 2019 and I was very impressed with the city. I had a good time in Commercial Street and in the parks. Totally recommend Bar 13 for a night out. The weather was really nice and the air not that polluted, if you consider the traffic (I think it's because of all the parks and trees). People are more used to seeing foreigners as well, unlike other parts of India... and I took the AMS-BGL direct flight!! 👍🏻👍🏻
