Even though these tutorials are somewhat dated, they're the #1 source that I go to, when I want to learn something fundamentally important about F360. It blows my mind when people just decide to sit down and teach, for the main purpose of educating people. Hat off to Lars.

Thank You Lars for all the time and effort you put into all of your Fusion 360 tutorials. I had tried to learn CAD a few times and always felt like I was putting in a ton of effort and not getting anywhere but in a couple hours I have some basic ideas and things I can already make are flooding through my brain. I can't wait to get into more in depth tools as I move forward.

Amazing tutorial Lars. Clear and well explained. You have now given me the confidence from a starting point to want to now watch your video again and again until it sinks in , then take on further information and tutorials so the picture so to speak to use Fusion 360 grows without being disjointed. Thank you so much Lars you have given me a light bulb understanding now to go forward. Brilliant........I'm so excited to learn more without being overwhelmed as before. Amazing, what a teacher........

Brilliant teaching style. Your videos are very well paced, well organized, and really step-wise. Many videos think they are being procedural, but glance over things that beginners can't follow. Thank you for your very practical approach. Your 3-part series on the electric junction de-mystified things in F360 that I'd been stuck on for weeks! Great work!

Great lessons Lars, I started out by watching how other people draw in Fusion 360 and start modeling a few complicated boxes. Feel Autodesk Fusion 360 is a very powerful program and easy to use. I'm now investing more time to learn all the basic things you're talking about in your video clips. With the experiences from modeling on my own, it is much easier to understand each important point mentioned in your video. A lot learned, thank you.

this was exactly what I needed. I started using fusion360 recently and I had only used solid works and sketch up before (about 10 years ago too when software wasn't tied to the cloud). The whole A360/cloud thing has been stressing me out. but I didn't realize it had such an elegant built-in versioning functionality. it was also cool to learn about the sculpt method since that seemed fun but daunting at first. thanks so much! this is a great video for someone who used to use older cad software and is starting to use fusion!

Wow Lars!! I unsuccessfully tried to learn Fusion 360 quite some time ago and I'm going to give it another shot. For the past year or so I've been using and trialing some different CAD software both direct and parametric modeling and now that I'm returning back to the fold Fusion 360 does not seem so intimidating. From a hobbyist and CAD amateur this is really a great product. My bad for throwing in the towel. If I hadn't who knows where I would have been today.
Thank you for these wondering videos Lars which are a tremendous help and I hope to never abandon the fold again!!

Lars this video is vital for newbs like myself. This video explains the general philosophy without getting stuck on tangents which newbs don't care about. I watched this many times over, taking notes in a bulleted list. I'll share that list with you when it's a bit more polished up. So you can see what's in my minds eye, as a newb who wants to take articulate notes for other newbs.

    Hi Lars,
I'm new to F360 (and computer-based CAD). I just wanted to say that this has cleared up so many issues that I had come across in the past couple of months. I had found the general tutorials I had seen so far assumed that you knew the basics of F360, then sped off into the distance leaving me stranded...
You've cleared up the constraints problems I was having, model importing, and versioning, all in one video.
    Thank you!
(I realised that the versions were buried somewhere, but had to produce stuff at work, then learn how to draw properly in my own time)
    Susi xx

+Lars - Also wanted to add a big thumbs up for this video. I'm still rather newly on my 3D printing adventure, and of course, got thrown into CAD.
(Screaming & kicking, I might add ...) Last time I dabbled in CAD was 1996 or so ... it's changed a bit ... (!!!) This tutorial is excellent, you have a new subscriber. I also want to point out that you're a natural teacher.
Some people have the gene for explaining complex things in simple language. Sadly, most engineer types don't, which doesn't stop them from producing videos, LOL!
AutoDesk's "Intro" video to Fusion is an example. The instructor uses a technical term 30 seconds into the very 1st introduction to CAD that took me almost an HOUR of research to understand. Not a great start for a n00b!
I showed it to my Wife, and she was like "WHAAAT??!? Is he MAD using a term like that 30 seconds in"?? Too funny (but not at the time).
As part of my job (Computer Consultant) I have to train people on computers, and I see you know the rule "repeat the basic point at least three times to ensure they get it"!
    Well done, and thanks again!

Looking forward to watching your tutorials. I started with AutoCad 1.4 in the 80s and grew with it into the 90s. I can't count the number of times I've wished I had it on my computer. I can finally afford an Autodesk product since they made Fusion free... Lol But, when I got it of it, 3d modelling was only on SparcStations and not on PC's. So, this is still very new to me.

If Lars ever snapped and became a kidnapper, he wouldn't do anything terrible. He would just tie someone to a chair, turn on some music, and talk about fusion 360 for days.
    Love the videos man!

great tutorials...keep them coming.. I am coming from SW and the challenge is not easy.. but easier thanks to you. I find move and copy in F360 to be the most difficult for a beginner. Can you do a beginner tutorial on this topic..please.

Thanks Lars! I´ve been looking for a 3d design software, thats easy and intuitive, for some time. Now I´ve found it in Fusion 360! ...And the learning curve is pretty tough, I´d might add! ...But thanks to your slow Danish approach, I think I might be getting there. Thanks a lot. Greetings from Denmark! :)

Hi Lars, I'm finding your tutorial videos very useful. I'm experienced with SolidWorks myself but it's quite straight forward to transfer those skills. 360 seems to have a lot of functions that are easier to use than the SolidWorks equivalent, I may fully switch over.

Hi Adam, Thank you for taking the time to watch the videos. I'm an old SolidWorks user myself. Totally agree with you, plus Fusion have some really good Mesh and CAM tools :-)
      Have a great day!

I'm finding that I am having more fun using fusion than SolidWorks. I have noticed that when you save a fusion 360 part to STEP and open in SolidWorks, there are a lot of geometry errors.
This is the only thing that worries me about entirely switching to Fusion 360. I may have future clients that require a fully editable model on SolidWorks, and if my fusion 360 model can't be accurately translated over, then it could become a problem.
Do you have any advice or experience that you could share in this area?
      Many thanks,
