My LG v60 is stuck on android 10; I have no way to upgrade it. Does this method work to replace android 10? I am NOT using it as a phone, I am using it as a media/game device so I dont need cellphone functionality.

i was able to install the driver and it now shows up but when writing to device, it says no such file or directory. i'm using the pixel os rom and not lineage. could it be the reason?

Can you enter edl mode? Please do so and BACKUP all partitions before restoring from a backup of your variant. I believe you can get one from the Telegram Channel.
The full steps will be difficult, check the video on cross flashing, follow the exact steps as it also teaches how to do partition back ups. Get back to me after that and let's see how to proceed from there

I also use the Verizon model. Unlock the bootloader before you can make any modification. There's a video tutorial on that in my channel.
I have not flashed any custom Roms because I heard VOLTE does not work so I will not be able to make calls in USA. Is that true for this ROM?

Just go ahead. But you MUST backup the LUN 5 partition to restore network in case something goes wrong.
