    Just wanted to say, I've come back to DS3 since I never completed it and decided to do a Sorc build from scratch. This guide helps me out so much, just even getting to grips with a lot of DS3 stuff. So thank you :)

    I was thinking to play through the trilogy as a mage, then run that into an Elden Ring mage run, which would end up being the first character I run in Shadow of the Erdtree. Can't wait!

      I love mages and clerics, but my absolute favorite has to be DS3 pyromancers! I am currently doing a run with one to finally finish off the walkthrough.

      @@DungeonMasterElite I mostly hate mages, but I'm kinda bored with the usual strength builds and just need something to tie me over til Shadows

      @@a_fuckin_spacemarine7514 consider playing a mage knight, a melee based magic user. They are absolutely amazing. They have great utility, fun combat options, are very versatile. I used one in the beginning of my walkthrough for DS3.

    This guide is actually fantastic. It‘s exactly whats needed. Understand how the class may work and people can pick. Great job.
    Especially love the keeping the staff left and focus on a good main weapon.

      Back in the day, I used to equip the staff in the right hand, but I also found it's most often a better option in the left hand. It's also just more fun that way. Thanks for the kind words too!

    I heard that alot of players bash about how magic in Dark Souls 3 is the worst in all of Souls games. Can someone explain why is that? I'm currently playing a mage build in NG+ after beating the game with a pure strenght build and find the game way easier with sorceries.

    • @DungeonMasterElite
      @DungeonMasterElite  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I might say it has something to do with the fact that demon's souls and dark souls 1 had really strong magic systems that would allow you to really kind of breeze through the game, but because dark souls 2 is kind of shunned, it's almost like it doesn't exist. Hence, dark souls 3 has the worst system. That would be my guess.

      @@DungeonMasterElite Is Dark Souls 2 realy that bad???

    • @DungeonMasterElite
      @DungeonMasterElite  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ivanvoloder8114 No, I personally like the game and think it is better than DS1. However, due to a number of reasons including the manner in which it was released and subsequent updates and re-releases it has rubbed the community the wrong way. I put out a couple of videos addressing some more specific details about this disagreement amongst the souls community but I would say that kind of sums it up for the most part.
      I would definitely say play it if you haven't and make your own mind up on whether or not you like it.

      @@DungeonMasterElite I've played Elden Ring and currently playing DS 3. Love both of the games. I will give a go with DS 2 after I do all the builds playthroughs in DS 3. I am currently playing first NG+ as a sorcerer and realy like the spells.

      @@ivanvoloder8114 I really think Elden Ring is a spiritual successor to DS2. If you liked Elden Ring you will probably like dark souls 2 as well. Obviously it's not as refined as either the two games you played but it's still fun IMO.

    • @DungeonMasterElite

      There are a couple places in the game that has very fast and easy farming. I would say Lothric castle alone has two, but when I do farm, I usually only spend a handful of minutes here and there. There are tricks to optimizing.

    Hi man. Just wanted to say, Really good video. Every time I play DS3, I only ever go for a strength build so on my current play through I decided to do a sorcery rebuild, but I’ll be honest, I have no idea how it actually works 😅 So genuinely thank you for the video man, it really helped. 🫡
