Can I Beat Fallout: New Vegas as Colonel Augustus Autumn? (Hardcore Mode)

After being spared at Jefferson Memorial, Colonel Autumn disappears from Fallout 3 as he is taken into custody by Lyons Pride. However, in this timeline, things change. What if he was shown mercy and instead eluded capture?
Though he'd play an active role at Adams Air Force Base, he manages to evade capture once more. Upon discovering Union Station, though he loses the last of his supporters in the process, he's alive to fight for another day. This train, however, takes him to the last place he ever expected to go.
As this timeline's Courier Six, the good former colonel finds himself thrust into the world of politics when a certain charismatic gangster robs him of the package he was meant to deliver to New Vegas. Little does this checkered suit toting fellow know of the beast he has just unleashed...

Acquiring the Boomers as allies just felt right. Once the good Colonel-Courier learns of their origin story, it's pretty on brand for a solid Enclave ally.
And cleaning up the Strip? Autumn deserves a shot of quality scotch and some blackjack to pass the time. He's earned it :)

Colonel Autumn deserved better. He was flawed but wanted to make the capital wasteland a secure zone for all people. In the end considering fallout 4, he should’ve been the leader of the capital wasteland, brotherhood was always unreliable in the long run.

Oh, that gattling laser volley to the face? Merely a setback...

@@MidlothianOdyssey After a stunt he pulled at the Jefferson Memorial - surviving lethal levels of radiation like it was nothing - it'd be fun if Bethesda just leaned into his inexplicable ability to avoid death and had him pop up again after a while, no matter what you did to him. Leave the players to make theories of wheter he's a synth, a series of clones or just stupidly tough/lucky.
