This will be my first electric grinder. I started with a Timemore Slim Plus, upgraded to an 1zpresso K-Max, and am now getting the Casa. Can't wait for mine to get here.
Glad you like it! There's nothing inherently wrong with not disassembling the grinder too unless you need to. :D but we hoped this made that a little easier when it comes to disassembling time.
Thanks for the comment! If you mean moving the cup further out (to the front), it would increase the length of the base unnecessarily, and the partially exposed cup would create an odd visual as well. Bringing the cup closer to the main barrel means more grind would fall outside the cup. Our team had to find a good balance between form and function. After thorough testing, we determined that this position offers the optimal balance between design and functionality. During the shoot, we had to do a lot of consecutive grinding, which led to some static buildup (hence some stray grind). However, in normal daily use, most, if not all, of the grind do fall into the cup

Thanks for the comment! In retrospect, we should've kept it clean, but on the flip side we are also keeping it real haha. On the filming day we were grinding multiple back to back shots (for different takes), which led to some static accumulation. In normal daily use you will likely see much less. Also, that's done completely without RDT so it is very minimal compared to other grinders.
I placed a reservation! So excited it’s going to be my first and hopefully a life time grinder❤
Thank you for your support, we hope you will enjoy the Casa when it arrives!

I love the disassembly! I think a lot of home coffee drinkers are intimidated by disassembly.

Very excited to get mine!
the lamp's made it, woo hoo!
let's gooo!!! 🤣
umm did anyone see how the grinds fell out of the bucket... why don't you center that?

Why is the chute not centered? The catch cup lip is catching more grounds than it needs to catch

I ordered it
I still prefer burr nut removal is also tool free
What size portafilter does the catch cup mesh with? 53mm? 58mm?
it's 58mm!
Looks like some static issues in the shoot
