Really helpful tips for someone looking to level up or working on capsule wardrobe shopping - thank you! I started this shift 5 years ago and my big take aways include: quality over quantity. Quality of material matters and it shows in how the clothing lays and fits, so I'd rather have fewer quality pieces (I prefer natural fabrics generally) than more variety. It also helps that I know I'm more of a classic and neutral gal than a trendy type, which is actually helpful with this! Also, like you noted, comfort is KEY. If shoes or clothing aren't comfortable, I'm simply not going to reach for them, so that's not negotiable anymore. Older and wiser 😉
You are so lovely! This was a very helpful vlog with a lot of take aways. I love your style so much. You always dress in timeless classic pieces that will stand the test of time. 🙌🏼
Hi Amie! Aww didn’t spot Leo or Yoshi today. Loved this video! It’s so important to have good foundational and classic, neutral staple pieces. I still need to work on this, but I’m a sucker for color. I think what’s most important is wearing something each individual is comfortable in. Otherwise we’d just feel awkward and self conscious. I just saw how many white handbags you have on your back wall. Oh my gosh I would be so nervous! I’m just going to enjoy them from your videos hahaha have a great weekend!!!
Ahaha strategically doing more filming upstairs so I don't get yoghurt or mud on my clothes every 5 minutes 😂 White bags are definitely a 'no baby today' choice at the moment 🙈
Love the yogurt or mud comment 💛 😂 it’s so clever even though I’m sure you’re also being literal. The other day I just saw a handbag restoration video where a kid was caught drawing with a blue marker on a white Chanel shopping tote!
Great tips aime. I can honestly say your the only fashion blogger I follow or have seen, that nails all looks, you never wear anything I don't think looks fab, because you don't follow any crazy ott trends xx
Great video Amie. Yes less is more for luxury logos. Yeah, when i use logo belt, i usually do not use the brooch. Is either one. Even with scarf, if one uses a scarf then no need for a brooch otherwise it will look so busy. I love a clean-cut look even more so in the corporate environment. Surely i do agree too that looking after oneself is also very important to look put together. Love the idyl jewelry especially the Lena necklace. Thanks for sharing 🤗😍
Wonderful video, Lovely! My biggest problem now, is getting a great fit, since I no longer live in a city. 🤷♀. Shopping for clothing online, to me, is difficult! I must get a good tailor. I would also love to get some of your shoes! 😉 Have a fantastic weekend, dear Amie! ❤👜❤🇨🇦
What are your thoughts on your debobbler/Pilo 2 fabric shaver? I bought a debobbler in the past and it made holes in my knits so I'm scared to buy another one.
Omg so the first time I turned it on, I was not prepared. It literally shaved a few bits of my hair off! It's way more powerful than my old one which was just a cheap one from Amazon haha. It's really really good but you have to go gentle with it. I just lightly go over my knits and I've not had any issues :) xx
It certainly does. For plus size women the choices are far more limited. Plus they often fit in one place but not others and you just have to live with that.
Another fab video and well made points! I think you’re being a bit harsh on yourself with the Gucci marmont bag and belt faux pas 🙈 if you added Gucci loafers too then maybe it’s too much hehe xx

I don’t usually leave comments. However, I do enjoy watching your videos and like your styles a lot. Keep up the good work! 😊
Love that idea of rotating jewlry..

Please show us how you do your hair like this! It’s beautiful 😻
What was it you use to refresh your clothes? Never heard of this before.
Great video! I learned a lot

Hello Amie,
Great video! Can you provide the details on your jewelry case? Need one in my life! Thank you!
I think maybe she discussed it in her jewelry video?
Great tips aime. I can honestly say your the only fashion blogger I follow or have seen, that nails all looks, you never wear anything I don't think looks fab, because you don't follow any crazy ott trends xx
Aw that is so sweet, thank you!! xx
Gorgeous jewelry and great tips ❤😊

Oh 100%! Brooch OR belt I think is a great rule haha
Yes! Self grooming is so important. Else nothing will look good on, even carrying the most expensive bag
I would love to see a daily, weekly, and monthly grooming video Amie! ❤

Shopping online is definitely an art! There really needs to be a universal fit system - it would save so many returns!

@@ChaseAmie Thank you for your feedback :)
How do you feel about the fendi baguette? I have your classy style yet i already own 2 ysl which are classier style and want a easy going bag
I love the Fendi baguette! It's a style I've almost bought so many times but I just never seem to pull the trigger - maybe one day!
Thought your hair looked nice messy. Always good to see you.
Yes she looked good in the "messy" version too ! 😅
Being slim makes life easier when selecting clothes.
I lost 85 lbs last year. This is so so so true
It certainly does. For plus size women the choices are far more limited. Plus they often fit in one place but not others and you just have to live with that.

She does a great job styling all shapes and sizes.

Ahaha I remember trying on the fur slide on loafers and just laughing at how I really REALLY couldn't pull them off.
