I got equal As and Cs on the test and here I am after getting to know about both of the clubs. Initially, I decided to go with 'Tora' as said in the test video but after watching 'Kuma' video I want to say that this test must be highly, highly carefully curated and crafted as I feel I am equally both. This hit me in so many ways. I can say that this is very accurate for me as a Kuma who got like 8 Cs. People around me think that I don't get stressed or depressed about anything because I just go with the flow and never shown an excessive good nor bad emotions. But deep inside, I worry alot about myself that I feel like I'm being left out in terms of learning even though I'm not. During a break, I don't study anything but I overthink how my peers are probably being productive (like doing self study) while I'm just staying in my bed. I'm in the first like class all the time but I still worry a lot by myself without anyone knowing. Though it's a good thing for me to have a delusional motivation so I can be productive even by a bit.😂

"Delusional motivation", that's a concept i've never heard but i'd say i relate to it profoundly. Sometimes i just trick myself into thinking i'm doing well and get some work done, before falling back into the reality of much behind i am in a lot of things.

  • @ebrelus7687
    @ebrelus7687 ปีที่แล้ว +166

Kuma way is iteration. You learn in your pace, with microbreaks after each point/fact identified as important to note & remember. You let it sink in.
You make it a title of a page of data.
Then you repeat it in mind, sorting things you already remember & understand and you iterate the same material again
for all points that flew away from your attention earlier also solidifying what was learned earlier. This is that consistency. Multilayered picture.
In this type you gain confidence with completeness of what you learned. You learn slower but for a solid as rock memory. And gaining solid points to which you anker next information building one wider context.
You focus picking up the important points, precisely these you for sure want to remember well as if your memory was limited & weak.
You pick what you are afraid to forget. Because remembering these builds up your confidence and it's like a river source or mile stones. It creates an array structuring & ankers whole material around them and you build larger relational connections between these like bridges.
You also need to repeat thing learnt in next days but will longer and longer pauses between repeats. Your superpower is refreshing well remembered knowledge and later it crystallizes for whole life, easily triggered by these milestones, main themes.
I think here is also a difference on gender line.
Woman have better memory in general (I think it by taking every fact in more emotionally packed way) while men focus on relations between facts & chaining information together, building logical connections and categorising, fitting similar things in boxes.
Or maybe these are two diff sides of the same process.
Hard part here is brain laziness & deception. It likes to fake focus & need to stay vigilant keeping own system.
When you think something is simple than you don't put enough attention to it and brain skips it.
With next iteration you notice how your brain focused on most important things it was scared to miss while missed these things you thought were easy to remember and obvious. These similar things are most scary actually, becoming invisible to attention in a way.
So this consistency is also about putting equal average effort to every important milestone no matter if you think you already get it or if it seems new & difficult. Repeats must be complete also.
Selecting all important facts but treating each equally in amount of attention payed to it, without shortcuts. Finding this stable tempo flow.
It may require mixing topics or exploring other side's of the same concept to not let attention go asleep but also not get disturbed distracted. Moving body, walking, changing position, humming, making hand gestures, breathing deeply with stomach are some of methods.

I was never a fast learner and was always the last one to understand about the typic what my lecturer is talking about. I find it hard to understand theories because of the nature of wondering why, how, what? I think too much and when I can't understand, I tend to blame myself for being stupid, and get sad and stuffy just because of self-criticizing.
That one time when I got 2/10 on my very first test, I thought about giving up on everything I'm leaning to just because of I thought I wasn't trying hard enough to achieve something like the others do. But soon after, I found this video popping up on my recommendation and immediately clicked it without any second thought, and yessss, that one click solved my ' I'm such a slow learner, more like a stupid airhead' nonsense.
I'm really indeed grateful for you guys for creating the quiz and uploading it. I am a slow learner but rather a smart slow learner, I guess.

I have been in a bad spot where I had some serious depression episodes, but I learned to accept that about myself. I watched all 4 videos of this series. The result I got from the quiz video was Kitsune, but I feel like Kuma sounds a lot more like me. I have the curiosity like a Kitsune sure, but for the most part, Kuma gang is my clan. Likely means that I wasn't completely honest with myself xD Great videos thos, guys. I'll be sure to check some of the others too!

Dang I have ADHD and am kind of a mixture of Kitsune and Kuma. But the issue is if I use the Kitsune method I get overwhelmed and overstimulated, but I also don't have the ability to be overly methodical and if I give myself too much of a break I just won't do anything. I'm fast learner like a Kitsune and have the ability to be very energetic but I can also bevery easy going and struggle with motivation. I have a will to learn but am also not easily engaged so if something is too slow or boring I'll just get distracted but I also can't do something fast paced because I can't keep up. Elementary school was pretty easy for me because I have a natural affinity for understanding things but now that I'm in highschool I still have no reliable time management skills and consistently get overwhelmed during the school year because I can't keep up with the work. My grades barely stay afloat because I always do good on tests. An I have a hard time on homework too because despite the fact that I understand the work I either spend most of the time distracted and get nothing done or just end up being so exhausted by the end of the day of me also not finishing anything, that I don't do it at all and procrastinate on it. All this to say I have ADHD and I need help.

Hey, so I have a suggestion! I think it would be interesting to delve into the Myers-Briggs personality stuff and correlate that back to the system you have here! I think it might just reach a slightly wider demographic! I say this cause I'm an INFJ type and I found a video about how a lot of us can be slow learners, and it made me remember this and how I also tested as a Kuma type. So it made me think about which types might likely fall into different categories here. Just a thought!

I love this kind of categorizing someone habit. I know it's one of the worse of three. But I am trying to fix my bad habits. I'm actually sometimes a slow learner and just laughed at my quiz results. I often don't follow what others believe, I often to differ my opinion base on what I know and understand. Often my freinds think that I am the less intelligent. But in reality I also see them as not intelligent even they are smarter than I am. But I am willing to learn and to reflect to my mistake. I also have to start a good sleep, diet and not I am actually taking a brain vitamins that helps me a lot right now. I am actually sometimes consistent just a year ago. During my first year in college. I wasn't really afraid to answer surprised questions by our teachers. I was actually surprised to notice that whenever I was being group with smart people they actually feel like they are comfortable with me. Since I am not afraid to explain Infront of everyone. I am glad, my advice is to never be discouraged. Just so happened that during second semester of my first year I was so discouraged that I slack and look dumb on my one report that led me to loss motivation to continue what I was doing.
Always be ready on your report and avoid using social media.

I as a Kuma prefer to stay hidden with my eyes and ears open and my damn mouth shut close.
And i prefer to be more of an observer than a forward student (but i will talk in situations that i need to talk)

I just watched all 3 clubs and I am not in 1 particular group. I learn fast but sometimes I try to study for an entire test in 1 go and when I'm at the end of the chapter I forgot the first paragraph. I never give up, it is a thing that burned me out.
this year I failed the first tests and when I saw everyone else get good grades I felt bad, I tried to do better and failed again. this went on until Christmas, the last week before holiday I was in so much pain, because of that I decided to take a step down.
also if I work in groups and I'm the only one who works it really frustrates me, but I let it go and do it myself because I don't wanna snitch but also don't wanna fail. this is at school, but also at work and people noticed it and told me to stand up for myself but that is hard.
I'm a calm person, sometimes people are yelling at me and I just listen, and react calm. I found out that staying calm works better in an argument than yelling back. but last year I found it harder and harder to stay calm. in an argument with my co-worker I was mad, I didn't yell but I wasn't as calm as I used to and the other co-workers (who all agreed with me in that argument) had never seen me that mad.
I probably forgot a few other things but I think it is clear that all these things don't fit in one club.
maybe if I saw these vids a year ago I din't f*ck this year up but I can't change that. I learned it the hard way.
    thnx for the vids!

I did a test from this channel, and the test said I was a tora, the test wasn't completely wrong since I'm very passionate about music but the other traits of tora doesn't match with my personality so I watched the other two videos about Kitsune and Kuma. And I figured out that I'm actually a kuma, this video literally described my personality lol, but as you've said, we have all 3 focus natures, one is primary the others are secondary. My Tora nature lights up when I'm making music but my kuma nature is the primary/strongest nature.

I tend to misunderstand others when they ask me for something, like for example, my nanny asked me to buy sausage, and i thought of hotdog :’v
And when they tell me instructions to follow i sometimes need to ask or repeat what they’ve said to confirm I understood them, and if i ask to long they raise their voice at me,which feels unpleasant but perhaps neccesary.
When they tell other family members about my mistakes and talk about it I feel overwhelmed and upset, my nanny rarely brings up my mom who has esclerosis multiple with poor abilities to organize, and compares me to her. I don’t like it when she talks about my mom at all, or when she uses her as an example to ‘motivate’ me to care around the house. When these things happend i usually just finish the tasks and leave to sleep in my room (which is also a storage room, but I’m grateful i atleast have clothes, stuff and a bed to sleep in), atleast my mom doesn’t hear her talk about her that way, i hate to see others make her upset, makes me want to rage at them, but I’m not a strong person myself either.
Apologies for blabbering about my life😅 Great video btw😌✨

The big endurance thing for me is not like sitting down and focusing as in mental power to fight distractions for hours, but endurance as in never fully quitting. I am basically the most patient person I know. I am verrry slow to working at goals but I never give up (besides looking at easier alternatives or just getting bored of the goal). I can work on the same thing for years and never quit. BUT that is an issue. Many goals I want to get done fast but I am too chill to the point where they are always in my mind but never done. I basically have zero sense of urgency. So yeah I do have the stamina to never quit and keep calm but I don't have the motivation to actually get to work. When I do learn something new I must learn all the details! Also once I take a break from something it will be a long one. I always had these big swings where I have an amazing study streak, then I take a break a little too long and cant get started again for weeks or months or years depending on how tedious I feel it is.
I would say I am just slightly more Kuma than Kitsune but it is pretty close and I have my Tora moments too. Really I think by nature Kuma is a bit of everything but instead of more motivation it is more patience instead. Kuma's probably find themselves more of everything vs others.
    Differences:
I would not really describe me as disciplined and consistent except for short periods of times typically not lasting more than a couple months.
My productivity curve kind of has a mind of its own still trying to figure it out.
My definition of Kuma's endurance is probably different from some others.
I don't really care about others test scores more just overall goal and life progress.

This is interesting 🤔 In the learning part I can relate because I remember times when I focus on a single thing trying to understand it and once I did, my whole perspective changed and i could not forget that knowledge. However when I am happy or with friends I like to hangout with, my brain shifts to creative mode especially in conversations: I think creative versions/responses in conversations, which I found out was actually my main inner humour. However, when with people that clearly have different beliefs and personalities, I have like a strict standard that I should not let those beliefs be mine, and I should not ever accept them as right because my beliefs are already well-thought. And another thing is I noticed I spend "too much time" on something. A situation of this happened back then, I kinda procrastinated for two days and the day before the deadline, I just went all in. Idk what type of brain this covers. But sometimes I don't procrastinate and my motivation is just right to start (this went downhill). I did this task for too long to the point where I only had 1 or two more days to my other tasks. After realizing this, I felt frustration (I sometimes feel worry in these kinds of situations)
It's really amazing how all of the brain types cycled throughout my life. It makes me think I am a Kuma with a secondary kitsune brain since my tora side really only comes out in the backround like my beliefs, and subconscious desires really, and when I feel like myself I just feel calm with like a baby spontaneous side running in the background and a strict like personality shadow following me
