as someone who is going to hard main unholy dk after not playing it since last patch legion , and solely playing it on WoTLK as frost , it's crazy to know that this isn't even our final form lmao . Rider of the Apocalypse makes unholy so unbelievably strong it's basically cheating . Sadly i foresee hard nerfs coming 1st patch TWW if not before launch . Frost is looking insane as well , but unholy is 100% cooler imo .

Unholy seems to be in a great place. I love abomination, and it's finally in the tree (way too long to happen, blizz). I dislike gargoyle, and I hear it's pretty useless right now, which is nice. I wish they just took it out and replaced it with some other undead monstrosity. One thing I dislike, though, is the rider's of apocalypse hero talent. When I think of Unholy fantasy, I think of armor-clad necromancer, not a guy who phones up four dudes on stiff, dated horses that clip eachother at the boss's feet...Missed opportunity here, big time.
Interesting, most people I heard love the rider theme for the dk. I care mostly about the gameplay, so I'm fine with it as long as they don't behave like more idiotic pets and don't make it clunky in any way :D
@@Zandabert I don't hear people praising the theme as much as they like the usefulness of the tree, especially the added mobility. But yea, I might be one of the few who doesn't care for it. Seeing all those npcs on stiff mounts clipping each other makes the game look really jank.

Some quality of life stuff like a DnD at my position: #showtooltip /cast [@player] Death and Decay or battle rez with mouseover: #showtooltip /cast [@mouseover] Raise Ally I also have something in my death coil and scourge strike makros to make sure that stupid ghoul sticks to the right target, like: #showtooltip /cast Scourge Strike /startattack /cast [@target] Claw /petattack [@target] and active trinket slot with biggest CDs (unholy assault or army/abomination), like: #showtooltip /cast Unholy Assault /cast Empower Rune Weapon /cast Berserking(Racial) /use 13
Maybe, but not the biggest value this week in my opinion. I for sure take AMZ in tyrannical weeks (for most dungeons), or dungeons like RLP for the dragons etc., but AMZ in general is interesting in pugging, up to a certain key level people don't even care to stand in it, even when it's right next to them. Or even worse, feel pressured to stand in it and die because of it. All the mobs in NELT you can Asphyxiate, you can also just Death Grip to interrupt even their not interruptable casts. I like to use the points for mobility like Wraith Walk and fast Death's Advance, since movement is a limiting factor on dk.

For sure, took Blizz a long time to "fix" dk for M+, giving him a more suitable damage profile with group utility etc.
