I have rosacea and a few products have really and truly helped. Origins mega mushroom treatment lotion (contains sea buckthorn) as a toner and Dr Alkaitis soothing gel after you cleanse. They both stop the dryness and soothe down the redness and also cleaned up breakouts. Nothing oil based has worked for me at all. I've literally tried everything, so research the two I've suggested. I also use drunk elephant pekee soap for a cleanser.
Hi, pursepective. From last year my skin is getting red and burning after I took Accutane. I have tried many different creams, oils. None of them work, leaves my skin dry or burning. I bought many different products after I heard from others with rosacea. But they doesnot work. I think rosacea is different from person to person. I am very frustrating. I really want to try Dr. Alkaits. Do know the reason why you get Rosacea? I am afraid it might not work for my skin too since my rosacea reason is very different. Thanks:)
That's a good suggestion. I know it works for many people. 😊 For some reason it causes my rosacea prone skin to dry out and feel tight and burn even more. I'm not sure why it does that. It works on the rest of my body - even on sunburns and burns. I know it's helpful to a lot of people, though
I started to use STB salve for rosacea two days ago. The itchiness and burning stopped but the redness is even more than before :( I don't know what to do, if I should continue to use it or stop it...
Hmm, good question! It's curious that some symptoms eased while others persisted. I wonder if your skin needs time to adapt or if it's just too heavy for you right now? I find that this salve is typically good for my skin in the winter when it's at its driest. It's too heavy for my skin in the summertime, I'll be easing back into its use now that it's the fall and the weather is getting colder. Could that be it for you, too? I hope it ends up working out for your skin, too.
I had rosacea with bumpy skin and flare ups before. Ive tried seabuckthorn pure seed oil ( it was a white oil tho)and it helps with the bumps! I also took oregano oil internally, it is a natural antibiotic that helps with inflammation. Another thing that really helps my skin is Aloe vera, I took the plant , cut it up and put in a blender and then separated the liquid and apply it on my skin.

Thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate it. I'd never heard of those so I'll be sure to check into them. 😊
pursepective I have heard about Origins Mushroom and when I have the extra money I will be purchasing. I have seen many videos raving about that.

Try pure aloe Vera gel for the burning and irritation.

It's probably from the high vitamin C content in seabuck thorn products. Too acidic for us.
If you've tried sea buckthorn products to treat rosacea, please share your experience in the comments!
