It IS the ugliest beanie. HOWEVER, it's also gorgeous!! I love it!! And given the memories it evokes from projects you've likely forgotten about makes this hat all the more charming!!! You've inspired me to buy the loom and start making hats. THANK YOU!!! xx
I use up odds and ends to make hats for the homeless - my sister in law tells me the ones with the brightest colours and made from two different yarns are very, very popular!
That is stunning! I like the bits sticking through, it adds to the rustic nature. Great way to use up scraps and not waste one single bit. Very resourceful. :)
I love it! I might even make intentional balls with all the odd partial skeins. I was thinking of making a pastel ball, a autumn colored ball, a christmas colored ball, etc.
What a great hat! I love it! I wish my Addi Kingsize would work worsted yarns like Red Heart. Itll do the super smooth Antipill yarn but thats a little pricey and less color choices.

I think all knitted (or hand made) items are never ugly! Especially a warm cozy hat!
There goes my bag full of yarn pieces! 😂 👏🏻👏🏻
Brilliant use of scraps. I will start tying pieces together to make a ball! Verily good directions! Thanks
I love it. I think it's fantastic.
I normally use scrap yarn for scrunchies, lanyards and other small projects but this is brilliant! ❤️

For whatever reason it's been okay with the Scarfie (Lion Brand) yarn lately so I'm making some earwarmers, haha!

It’s fun to use up the scraps! I like it, not ugly! I have made one side solid and the other side scraps.
Love it
This would be so cool with a stitch like linen stitch. But then it would need to be hand knit.

Impossible to make an ugly beanie with mixed yarn - each one has its own personality, and will go perfect with any attire!
Love it ❤
