One of the nicest interactions I've had with an illustrator I admire. I'm so excited for you to get to meet him!

Hey Sha'an, I just wanted to say: you are such an inspiration. Regarding one of the questions from the Q&A, I feel like to be a full time freelance artist is not a realistic one for me, it's not impossible by all means; there are few that can do that. Is good to maintain a balance: work at a part time job and then come home and do what you love, which I think is better (personal opinion). The most important thing is changing that mindset of "I have to have it all or nothing" and just enjoy the process and cherish those moments when you can actually sit down and draw (for you). Hugs
+Ji Yeon Lee I agree - I don’t think anyone should jump straight into creative work without practice first, nor do I think all creatives need to do creative work only full time! It works for me, but that doesn’t mean it has to work for everyone :)

Sarah _ I literally just use google images - national geographic is a good one for beginners too because all the photos are amazing!! There are countless creative people that have taught themselves their craft - it just takes a lot of hard work - which I’m sure you’re capable of!
