- Mappa's new anime original, Bucchigiri is has been airing this winter 2024 season and has been pretty underwhelming trying too hard to be funny and failing in every aspect, So I'm here to tell you all about it's wasted potential!
P.S: These are all my personal opinions!

everybody in this anime looks like mc except the mc
Arajin Matakara? Height and Hair color for instance. Arajin Marito, same thing. Arajin Mahoro, that goes without saying. Arajin Zabu, hair and eyes. Arajin Komoa, hair and personality. Arajin and Kenichiro, literally every aspect. Arajin Senya, well? Arajin Ichiya, hmmmmmm? Boy, your comment slaps!
I can agree more, I thought I was the one thinking the MC is Ass, worst, and ego. Just for my opinion matakara being possessed by evil shadow / ghost, I more hype he became evil, then the MC just not care 🗿 all the MC thinking is just losing he's virginity 💀.

not gonna lie, the anime to go out on a limb for and win this season, was Bang Brave Bang Bravern. it's an original anime series from Cygames, and it just wrapped up like, this week. now is the perfect time to jump on that bandwagon, please go in as blind as possible and try not to see any spoilers, and for the love of god, just trust the process. I promise, there's a specific point in this show that makes it all worth every second you've put into it. it's like the anti-Bucchigiri in terms of effort justification.

It was so bad and so unmemorable you can’t even find a list of characters online. This show disappoints me on a molecular level.
I feel victim the same trap I always fall into: the opening and ending were fucking bangers, so I stuck it out.
I’m not supporting the MC, but he didn’t feel that bad. Kazuya (Rent-a-Girlfriend) and Takemitchy (Tokyo Revengers) has kind of numbed me to waste of space MCs.
Pretty much summed it up perfectly. Except maybe saying Matakara was one of the better written characters, since his belief that Arajin is strong doesnt make sense since he never once saw Ara do any feat of strengh b4 having the genie.
Also i agree w the 5:38 comment on the repetitive jokes, but the specific joke u showed on screen (where they explain the meaning of the gangs name) was honestly pretty funny
Haha there were so many great shows this season and you chose Bucchigiri to watch. I get it because it looked like a slam dunk show on paper. You should have picked Bravern. It was everything Bucchi wanted to be, but succeeded.

Seriously MAPPA was supposed to be good at making anime and we got a terrible perverted incompetent coward of a MC. Dude is worst than any villain in his own show
I didn't have a problem with that kind of character since I expected Arajin to develop. But it happened too late
Tbh the show had the setup to make it work. Arajin was a good kid and his childhood friend is there to take him back
Dropped it halfway because the MC never becomes more bearable.
The art, animation, and character designs look awesome, so it sucks to here it sucks.
Never even heard about this one, honestly. Looks like something I could watch when I need some nice animation but I don't want to think about the characters/story too much
Unfortunately, after like the 8th episode, the animation takes a notable dip in quality so heads up
omg i remember getting so hyped seeing bucchigiri's trailer, waiting months for its release, only to be disappointed the more I watched it. I love my delinquent animes but bucchigiri isn't one of them.
They gave us this hot garbage instead of season 2 of Hell’s Paradise. Certainly wasn’t worth it.
I actually felt like the fight scene animations were quite underwhelming for me but that's probably a side effect of having watched a few episodes of Windbreaker and then watching Buchigiri. Which btw it's an amazing series. I also felt like too many initial fights would end too soon without the moves connecting much. The initial fights were kinda meh for me despite the animation and the impact frames being really good. Now the last few fights were sick
Matakara literally carried the last 4 episodes of the show arajin was a terrible mc and all the side characters were more likable then him it was a chore to watch until close to the end, definitely not a good anime
I'm only watching this, Ninja Kamui, and Solo leveling this Season. 1 out of those three is actually tolerable. (NK)

As far as I know, Heavenly Delusion hasn't had a second season announced, but the manga is still ongoing so if you really want to continue, I guess go with the manga

It's like there's something called character development. WEIRD RIGHT?! Also, if you're a boring, regular - non pronoun user and grew up watching Toonami - Arajin is quite relatable to me any many high schoolers whether y'all like it or not. And guess what, if y'all thinking Arajin is obnoxious and you're still in high school or just out ... well I've got something to tell you, the rest of the world might find y'all annoying too ;) it's funny that people will watch Slime or Mushoku Tensei and think those are great, but the MC's are actually just sexist pigs. Yikes.

“Arajin is relatable” just confirmed you are indeed a loser like arajin and Rudeus is light years beyond Arajin as far as MC’s go.
