Hello, when i try to play a game using usbloader gx i get the region error message. So i tried this method but it still comes up, do you have any idea where the problem could be? In my homebrew there is also ARC 1.1b mod06 offline. This can be used to region unlock as well though i never used it. hope it's clear enough what i have to work with. Thank you in advance!
Will this work for gamecibe games because many years ago i bought animal crossing for gamecube before i realized its reigon locked for america only (im in australia) and i recently got back into the series

I had set my wii to region free everything but it still doesn't allow me to play my American gamecube game. Does anyone know why?(it loads the gamecube icon and when I click start, it literally becomes a blank screen.
Is this also work on the Vwii?
Maybe I'm not doing this right, but I think I did everything right; the issue is that I'm not sure how to get the priiloader screen. I even checked the homebrew channel. Could you tell me what I need to do, in specific order, to get the screen to show up?
Hey! Power off. Then press power on and immediately press and hold the reset button until Priiloader appears. You have to of installed it first

@@keysi3147 Interestingly, doesn't actually work through the disc channel on my Wii, but using Nintendont it works perfectly.

It's probably a video setting in Nintendont. Also try turning on or off progressive patch

As far as I know yes, there was another guy in the comments here having trouble with his PAL Wii

Mine didn't have the region-free everything when going through the options only the individual region-free settings like for games and channels or Game cube. but even after enabling those the wii still won't read US discs. Any ideas ?
Hmmmmmmm I am not sure, haven't run into that. You have a PAL Wii?

@@DenverGamer I appreciate it, I got a really good deal on the Wii and so I wanted to play US games on it. I backed up the Nand and all that and also got it to rip the discs and I’m able to use usb loader to then load the file it ripped. But at the Wii home menu it won’t recognize the disc which is weird cause obviously it sees it cause I was able to rip the game to usb.
So all you need is priiloader and hacks hash and that's it?

I believe Nintendont already let you play Japanese games. Haven't tried it with just this method

Hello, when I try to play a game it will start the game then the screen will go black and I cannot use my remote and have to hard reset my wii.

It's an older video but priiloader is just saying it cant find the hash.ini file when going into system menu hacks even though I added it
hey is it named "hacks_hash.ini"? And is it in the apps>priiloader folder?
@@DenverGamer figured it out, I didn't have bootmii installed at all and didn't really think I needed it due to priiloader installing and working fine. Seemed like that was the fix I needed though

I'm slightly confused as I've never done anything like this before. So obviously the program that's provided in the video need to be downloaded and such. But how does this transfer over to the Wii? Is there a specific SD card I need to use to transfer this program over to the Wii?
you need to have an sd card formatted to Fat32, have an "apps" folder where you put your homebrew apps

I just went to checking case cuz I was downloading my first Japanese translation game and I had region-free everything region free games region free Wii games and region free channels and all enabled oh no that will not break your Wii

I also have a just dance disc (also US) and the same thing happens when i launch it but in that case i can spam a on the controller and it reconnects and works fine, but doing the same thing does not work on wii sports.

@@sebastian8543 No unfortunately i have not figured it out, i find it very strange that one type of game works and not the other type. Whatever i try does not seem to solve it.
