Damn this kid is brave. I could never have done this when I was his age. I know it’s the parent in me, but I worry about him out there on his own. He takes problems in his stride, though.

I get a kick out of people who ask "How much it cost". If ever there was a 'If you have to ask you can't afford it." Living in a truck that cost as much as a nice condo, it a good example.
you must've been watching the wrong ones. I've seen many successful "van lifers ". it isn't for everyone. especially the half assers. it's way cheaper than living in an apartment , but it comes with some effort.

Happy Birthday! Just a hint, the coyotes are more likely to go away when people are visible so waiting for them to go is probably less effective than going outside and making noise and being seen. Love that you are visiting here in Arizona, so many great places to camp and sights to see!
Banging pots and pans is always a good way to encourage the animals to scatter
It depends on their numbers and how acclimated they are to humans. When I was young, the coyotes would scamper off at the mere sight of a human far off, now unfortunately they are quite brazen they actively walk the neighborhood looking for people walking small dogs in the mornings. There are a few attacks each year now. But we adapt, my area now has more dog parks and all of them have very high chainlink fences. And the people walking their dogs mostly shifted a little later into the morning. Coyotes, raccoons, skunks, and possums all have adapted too well to their human neighbors.
The coyotes in SE Florida love humans cause they love eating our small pets…they’re so brazen down here, they will literally steal your small pet right off the leash you’re using to walk your small pet…it’s happened…many times.
Agreed. Here in Michigan my friend is deathly afraid of them. Funny story with my step mother... when my brother was a new born she yelled to lock the doors and get the baby upstairs. LOL.... like yah.... the Coyote is gonna just come open the door and grab the Bebe. They are just as afraid of us here as most are saying here.

When you are young, you mostly travel to see how other people live, and experience new cultures. When you are older, you mostly travel just to see how things have changed. Keep up the good work!

Happy Birthday Ethan, I like your videos because I am an outdoors person. FYI, the Coyotes are far more scared of you than you are of them and if there is a human presence outside of your truck they are more likely to leave faster than if you wait them out. BTW, peaches is an adorable dog.

Ethan, I'm keeping you busy with lots of thumbs up and getting caught up with your videos I haven't seen. One thing I keep wanting to say, is safety first. It's easy to get distracted when making a video on some of your trips. I had many trips to the Grand Canyon and nearly died more than a couple of times. And I did get injured.
It took me a little longer then 22 years to have the ability to feel content being by myself without feeling alone and I wouldn’t change it for anything. In a perfect world I’d say otherwise but “only ifs” mean nothing. Having the ability to appreciate the stuff that most people don’t even see is a gift that can get you through anything life throws at you. Never stop doing you!

I know that there are lots of different types traveling YT channels out there, but I continue to watch only a select few, and you are one of them, whether you are in Thailand or Arizona or wherever. You pick some interesting places to go, and your videos educate me in a fun & often humorous way about them. I admire you can do attitude & that you don't seem to get overly upset about things that would have me about losing it. Glad that you have your new companion Peaches with you (I was so sad for you when you lost Millie). Mine is a corgi named Winston who turns 5 tomorrow. I started noticing the years passing quicker when I was like 18 or so. At 22 you still have the slower passing of years than at 32 or 42, etc. They will continue to pass faster with each one, it seems like 2023 just got started. Thanks for all you put on YT and all the other places, it makes for much more interesting content than just regular TV or streaming.
