Congrats! You have created a wonderful space for you and your dogs. It doesn't get any better. Your foot print is small and your space is luxurious. 🇨🇦
Welcome to truck camping! The most versatile, handy, maneurverable RV on the road! Thanks for producing such a comprehensive, professional presentation of the unique features of truck campers.
What an epic tiny home you have for your dog,s and yourself love the design and space , That is one large vehicle . Amazing wow you even have a bathroom love it. very cool that you can seperate the tiny from the truck you and the pups have all you need to live a comfortable life on the road . I love this.
First off, great mustache! 🤣 We have been dedicated truck campers for 25 years, every B plus or schoolie we meet is blown away by the space, amenities, and flexibility of a well designed TC. Thanks for a great video highlighting how awesome a truck camper really is
Lovelty Rig. It is super homely and cosy. The colour scheme give your Rig that warm look more so on a winters day no doubt. Your dogs are lovely as well.
really cool truck camper. Also, just use vinegar spray for #1's in the toilet. just as clean and saves on water. I saw that on a different RV life video. I start my Rv life soon!1 maybe I'll see you down the road someday. you saying it's the best decison you've ever made really helps.
I almost went with a 550 but then stumbled upon a good deal on this 450. The 450 handles it very well but I certainly wouldn't want it on anything less. 550s seem like a popular option for people carrying larger TCs!
I love ur truck/ camper idea. I am wanting to build camper/home for my daughter that has cerebral palsy & myself. This build has given me so many great ideas. She's in a small wheelchair so she would need enough room to get through from the kitchen to bathroom,...😂
I have a new Chevy 3500 paired with an Arctic Fox 811 and it's awesome. I've been everywhere. The main thing about it is the fact that you can tow a boat or ATV. Pretty fun.
@@NomadicNorthwoods not going to a boat landing and not going on back roads. But some dirt roads will be fine and flat grass areas. Much more room and more practical for living.
The way you worded it seemed like you were asking about a separate outside entrance. It only has one door. Yes, you can get to the bathroom, bed & frig without moving the slide at all.
What a wonderful way to live I used to live on a semi truck I would love to live in a setup like you have im retired now I would love to travel for fun and not work
The propane furnaces that come installed from the factory on modern campers do not create moister inside the camper. That's exhausted to the outside. Only propane heaters that are catalytic like the Heater Buddy create moister inside where they are burning. And yes, your diesel heater is more efficient but when it clogs up from black soot, you will appreciate that propane furnace.
64 gallons of total water… An onboard propane generator… A really good bathroom… And an air conditioner, propane, furnace, very generous refrigerator, space, an oven, and two 30 pound propane tanks. Plus with the upgrades he did for power and heat. I would say this is a fantastic fully self-contained off grid RV. I can’t say enough about how important it is to have an onboard generator for convenience, or for “just in case”. I hate slide outs because of their propensity to either be finicky or break… But there are two dogs and enough space to think about, so #FreePass, lol. I think this is a really good set up. Especially because he has a quad cab and the dogs can hang out in the backseat during driving days. Of course I also love that it’s a dually and I’m hoping it has four-wheel-drive for those snow days and sandy beaches.
Wow--that set-up checks a lot of boxes! Very nice. I'm curious as to what kind of mpg's you're getting....(Not very many I would guess, with a 450. But, would you mind sharing what you're getting?)
I like these on the go houses. However, where do you get your mail? Because do you travel all over or you just live in your RV in one state and just have a Post Office box?
There are mail services that will give you a physical address to use and then scan mail for you and you can tell them to open it and scan what's inside or shred it as needed. I guess you could also do a PO box
Great set up! Beautiful truck and camper. I’m assuming the 69k was for the camper only. You may want to clarify that. Oh and one thing that drives me nuts. It’s a water heater not a hot water heater. 😅.
What a cool set up! I like to see how others live in rv s. If I was ever a widow? I think I’d ditch my house and live in my coachman freedom express as I’m disabled & wouldn’t have the money to kerpa big house maintained.
Johnny, You have what your journey needs. Great layout. I would need 8' Camper into bed o my truck that I would beable to go Cab To Camper with hangover the Cab. Go'n out & of Cab & Going into Camper would not provide easy accesss to leave when ever needed to. Or same when parked & to just go into Camper. The nomad living provides many different options in living. I would need many more solar panels. Safe Travels in your journey. alway, Tommy 🤠
I’ve been living full time in my 2021 Arctic Fox 865 LB for the last 3 years. First several years, very nice, minimal problems. This last year though this camper is falling apart faster than the American dollar. Roof constantly leaks in different places, the shell on the outside has separated in many spots, the awning is off track, the kitchen sink cabinets collapsed, thermostat, both fans and the toilet all gave out. The worse thing is my floor has turned into a sponge.
I've seen a lot of vanlife tours who either do something like wildlife photography, taking advantage of the places they can travel to, or who work more normal jobs remotely. You can put in your 9 to 5 grind and then go surfing or hiking the rest of the day!
You mention in the description "For a closer look at his previous home on wheels, visit his TH-cam channel to explore his shuttle bus conversion journey." but there's no link to his TH-cam Channel. What IS his TH-cam channel name?
Whoops! 🙈 Thanks for pointing that out, we'll update the description to include his TH-cam link. But in the meantime, here's a link directly to Johnny's channel: www.youtube.com/@MilesOSmiles 😊
Congrats! You have created a wonderful space for you and your dogs. It doesn't get any better. Your foot print is small and your space is luxurious.

What about ditching the dogs and getting a bird ❤
What a wonderful rig! He ‘s got a great life. Brilliant!
Love that you’re doing what you love now with 2 fur babies to boot! Enjoy ❤

I love that his set up accomodates multiple dogs. ♥️🐾🐾
Love the furry friends we meet on the road! 🐾 🥰

Lovelty Rig. It is super homely and cosy. The colour scheme give your Rig that warm look more so on a winters day no doubt. Your dogs are lovely as well.
I love your rig, the slide out makes a big difference with space, lots of storage. I really like it.
Agreed! It's amazing how spacious Johnny's camper feels with the slides out.
We're doing it at 60! We love our truck camper. It's so easy to get into almost any spot that a regular truck can go.
Nice to follow your dreams. I did the same in my twenties and early thirties. Settled down now, but so very glad I had that time to reflect on now.
Love the accordion door. All van lifers should do this, even if single, but esp if 2. Need separation .
Beautiful driveable home. From Wisconsin with love.
I admire....
What a free spirit.
That is a really spacious tiny Home‼️. Great house and Truck‼️ Congratulations 🎉
I'm ready to move in! Looks so cool, comfy and warm
Clever set-up by a smart guy. Thumbs up!
JOHNNY! Good to see you on TH-cam again! Love your new rig. So much storage, and it looks like a beast!

Congrats on starting your RV life! :) Hope to see you down the road!
Ok Buddy You Have Got A Good Home On Wheels Congratulations Take Care Of The Puppy Dogs Be Safe Your Friend Eddie From Athens Alabama.
Love all the choices he made in building this rig. I could live in this!
Very nice looks like a real house I like it
Fabulous! Thanks for the tour!
Beautiful setup,and beautiful pups!
You did a great job with the details,Nicely Done 🎉.
Happy Trails 👋
JO JO IN VT 💞
Great job Johnny!
Propane furnaces are dry heat. The moisture vents outside. Way more reliable then diesel heaters.
Another really awesome and interesting house on wheels.🇺🇲👋🇺🇲
you have a great out look on life!!
First of all, spice rack is dope! Second of all, thanks for inspiring and motivating, hell yeah!!
Outstanding. Best ive seen.
Love your truck camper, very clean, comfortable 👍
Yes that is 1 sweet little home 👍 do you carry a small generator in case a emergency? Oh you do have a gen for emergency cool.
Thanks! There's an on board generator that came with the truck camper. Haven't had to use it yet though!
Thank you for your video.. I am looking at different setups. Your video had a lot of information
Very nice set up, I have been looking at the 550’s myself because of the extra payload for comfort and to carry all my gear without worries.
I almost went with a 550 but then stumbled upon a good deal on this 450. The 450 handles it very well but I certainly wouldn't want it on anything less. 550s seem like a popular option for people carrying larger TCs!

Love how big American cars are👌👌👌
This guy is amazing
Probably the best build I’ve seen on TH-cam
Nice setup! Good for you for following your dreams! 😁
Nice rig , fully agree with you about the toilet. New Sub

Truck bed campers are ok, but a class C motorhome comes in a lot of different sizes and has more room for a similar length.
@@abruegger007good luck with that class c at the boat landing or back roads.
@@NomadicNorthwoods not going to a boat landing and not going on back roads. But some dirt roads will be fine and flat grass areas. Much more room and more practical for living.
Sweet ride!
Very nice rig.
I've seen a few truck campers,on the road. We're the opening is. Underneath the camper I've seen spare tires and 5 gal. Gas cans
Very nice set-up.
NICE set up for a VERY comfortable mobile lifestyle👍👍⬆️
Love your thinking on the 450 flatbed to mount your.camper. overkill on weight is real good idea. M
I love love love this camper!!!
4:48 Slide the camper forward.. it looks dumb, and puts the centre of gravity of the camper behind the rear axle.. looks like its falling off.
My thoughts.
The way you worded it seemed like you were asking about a separate outside entrance. It only has one door. Yes, you can get to the bathroom, bed & frig without moving the slide at all.
Very impressive
A good looking man who knows what he desires and can make happen. Very very happy for you!
Nice set up
I love your truck/Van 🙂

You're right, I did misspeak on causing condensation. Still prefer the simplicity and efficiency of a diesel heater!
Awesome… wow❤
I"m Loven it.
I love this one!!❤
Nice rig! 🚐

I love how indifferent the dogs are. Lol.
so good truck camper
Love my 992
Nice
Hey Johnny! How tall are you? And how tall is the camper? Looked like you had some nice head room
Wow--that set-up checks a lot of boxes! Very nice. I'm curious as to what kind of mpg's you're getting....(Not very many I would guess, with a 450. But, would you mind sharing what you're getting?)

That looked like Baker POW In that ski clip.
Lucky you.

I wanna know how he got just the 2019 Ford f450 for under $69,000...
That was exactly my first thought because it say “total”. Not possible for both the truck and camper.
Maybe he got a really good deal on one of them?? Love his space & attitude for doing the things in life he loves while young; beautiful dogs too!
That looks like an XLT trim or basic work truck. They are a lot cheaper than a Lariat or platinum. Also, maybe he bought it from an auction
It's an XL trim and it had a decent amount of mileage on it when I bought it. Got the truck for $33k from a wholesaler who bought it from auction.
That’s awesome! Good deal.

Woof 🔥
Nice video
Very cool 😎!!! ❤❤❤
What was your total investment, truck & camper? This is just gorgeous!!❤
$69k for truck and camper
He's very organized...
i love this but i need a pass through
Gorgeous guy. Did he say what he does for a living?
I work for a company remotely doing marketing
Nice ❤
I want the same оne.
He’s such a cutie
Wow! How does he fund this lifestyle?
Most of these people live off parents
