I don't know why but everytime I'm told to leapfrog at my training school, I nearly have anxiety attacks

Just have to work on your timing and footwork. ie jumping before your opponent is in the middle.

Start doing body weight squats and explode up and every rep. Move up to box jumps til you get the desired height. When you do the leap from make sure to jump forward a step so your opponent can pass under you.

What the point in the leap frog? Physcology wise? It never made sense to me.

Should be utilize to avoid contact when a bigger opponent is charging you after hitting the ropes.

@@SantinoBros But why does the bigger opponent then duck underneath you, rather than just spear you while in mid air?

I guess if he is running at you to spear you... his head and body will be in a downwards position like... so when you jump he'll miss you because you spread your legs over him!!
Now if the guy does a theaze press and your doing the leap frog... then that toad will be planketed!! 🤓

Jumping has always been my biggest challenge with wrestling. I'm planning to go back to training next year so hopefully I can improve on these before then!

Been practicing these at the gym. I'm 6'8 so I don't think it'll be too hard.

ive been watching a bunch of these and one of my absolute favorite parts is how much focus is given to being safe. "do this thing correctly so noone gets hurt".
