Footage from the 2011 Beat the Streets Battle on Broadway event, between Team USA and Team Russia, that took place right in the middle of TImes Square in New York and aired on Fox College Sports. This is the 55Kg match between Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo (USA) and Rasul Mashezov (Russia). - กีฬา
When is Cejudo going to go into MMA? Would love to see him dominate the lightweight divisions.
BJJJUDO hope you know by now, he is UFC flyweight champion.
BJJJUDO this comment aged so well
Hmm only time can tell.
@@edgarmenendez9623 aged like fine wine
Well he won the flyweight championship and the bantamweight championship
that reversal for the second point was unbelievable
He shows how to do it at 2:15 here: th-cam.com/video/YeWDOlFgrRE/w-d-xo.html
4:33 Rashad Evens is there to !
John Martin lmao I thought that white dude in the hat was Ashton Kutcher hahaha! Ffs
3:15 that split he did for that reversal was awesome!
Kal L what angle were they talking about
Jesus the old freestyle rules were garbage
One of the coolest things ever to happen in Times square
*Do They Even Know it's Christmas?*
✝☦🎄
3:15 wow cejudo showed this technique in another video, where if they have side control you do a split and turn their leg over
I did that to my opponent here in the Philippines bro got 2nd place 😅 glad I watched that tutorial. Wanna make the olympics one day ☝🏽
Watching this after he smashed Tj Dillashaw
Cejudo is a Beast
Even more so now!!💪🏼
@rodolfo suarez eres un pendejo
God bless America and Viva Mexico!
Henry Cedjuo is a wrestling legend. Olympic gold medalist and two weight UFC champion, what a impressive career 👏👏👏
When the show aired, there was an interview with Anthony Robles.
Because he took his opponent from his feet/standing position straight to exposing his back & breaking the 90 degree angle. The commentator actually clarifies it right after it happens. In Freestyle/Greco-Roman you don't have to hold an opponent on his back after breaking the 90 degree plane to score points like in high school or college. You only have to break the 90 degree plane & expose the opponent's back, even if it's for a very very quick split second.
this is awsome love wrestling
Ashton Kutcher? I always Thought his name was Michael kelso
lmao
That reversal
The first time I have seen a switch successfully executed in freestyle!
who else thinks that throw in the second period was a great comeback.
that was a funny scramble at the end, freestlye stalling at the highest level!
That first shot was insane
Awesome venue.
So Proud of him. Be Humble.
This is cool, do they still do this event?
every year just not always at time square
Yes, every year. This year the big match was Frank Chamizo (ITA) vs Jordan Burroughs (USA). It was kind of a disaster because they did it next to the river and condensation had the wrestlers sliding around like crazy but still a fun match to watch.
Great match
Yea.
it doesn't have to hit the mat it just the near fall or idk how to explain but it was exposure of it and that counts as long as its 90 degrees
love it!
En serio?en donde practicas?
I wrestled in maryvale where he started 2 wrestle 2 wher he got hiz 2 state champs.
Nice !!
nice
Nice
every day im buffering
Did anyone saw Evan?
If ur back points towards the mat, it is exposure
holy shit they wrestling in Times Square? damn
and two to the left is Rashad Evans
I went to the same high school.cejudo went to, wen he won the gold medal he came home and showed it off to all us wrestlers
What school did he go to?

Anybody notice anthony robles next to ashton kutcher?
I just made a video on Henry cejudo, if anyone can go show it love that would be awesome
lol whats a 3 points for cejudo in the end
Dam cejudo still got it
Ashton Kutcher and Anthony Robles are at 4:32
i think there was a 5 kg (11lbs) weight allowance for Cejudo lol
thanks for replying i get it thanks
yes and anthony robles is the one all the way to right
oh ok. i guess it's just on camera then.
i am from mexico, y practice wrestling and my coach is friend of henry cejudo
one time henry comes in my gym and i take a photo with him yeeaahh
why do you have 5 1's by ur name? wtf...
EAT THE TREET
Viva México
Don't even dream about that. :))
can someone explain to me why henry got 3 points the russians back never hit the mat
@Kazuo1234 Russia lost the challenge which results in a point, sorta like losing a timeout when you lose a challenge in the NFL
I love being American!
unfair!!! why 3 points given?
That's what I say. His back wasnt even close to the matt
@Kazuo1234 Russians challenged the call and lost it, hence they gave another pt to Cejudo.
3:13 for filth
en gdl en el code 2
Fast
condemned and bought russians
Cejudo is looking a bit chubs there.
WTF WAS THAT RASHAD EVANS? 4:30
WHAT'S UP, YO@ TOP NOTCH. ESCAPE CHEESE WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ABOUT THBT
eat the treet
what a terrible scoreboard
yeah so what's your point? I don't think anyone wants to face Cejudo including the Russians
That was bias commentating and ruling; definitely did not break 90 degree angle. Cejudo did not score any point there.
That's what I was thinking. His back wasnt even close to the mat not even 90°. It looks like he floated over and almost took control
Can you explain the rule?
7:07 shows the exposure clearly.
non c'erano i tre punti.
That man is getting raped
Lol, o.s champion vs who? I wanna see that kid vs someone a lil bit pro. I swear its enough of Albiev to own that kid. All tho Albiev is grec.
These guys are 120 pounds... eff my life
What's eff?
Нечестно засудили второй период Расул выиграл
so ill
2020
too bad the real russians arent that bad. what did they pay that guy to lay down like that?
Dumb takedown rule. Dude landed on his feet, no matter what you say, that's not a takedown. Shouldn't be points. Exposure sounds so dumb. Can you put someone on their back and keep them there
Did He just slap Russia's ass
Xuinya vsio, refa na milo gondon on. 2 iz 5 skazali nebilo 3 balov.
@TeriencioSolano2 I am from mexico
That was not 3,, I love how we are always trying to hype up the rags to riches story.
Def was 3, his back was parallel to the mat
Chechen respublic in russia have more olympic champs then whole us nation.
