a good way to make ur hair somewhat wavy is by combing it/brushing it all the way back. let it air dry and do not mess with it unless ur pushing it back and then at last once ur hair starts to dry, it should come down wavy.
if you have true straight hair it won't do that

So my hair is genetically straight as well but I’ve trained it to the point where it’s now naturally wavy and I really don’t have to do anything to it anymore, what I do is get it wet, put some hair Wax in then fold the wings and make it like wavy then put in hairspray, go to bed, make sure to sleep on the sides for like 10 minutes, crease the wings when you do, then when you wake up it will be wavy and will stay that way, just do that routine for a month and it will stick that way

@@demics2728 yes, it’s basically a self perm, it will stay that way until it grows out, BUT if you want it to stay like that keep doing the routine every once a week after you’ve trained it for a month and it will stay like that

what i do thats weird but works somehow is after shower part it with a brush, then push it up and let it air dry for a little bit. then i go lay upside down on my bed and let my head hang off the side and turn my fan on full blast and just push it back for like a minute. hair ends up looking really good after lol

@SirToro yeah so the fan is facing me directly from behind, then when i hang my head off the side its blowing right into my face/hair. u could place the fan in a different direction if you want it to go a certain way i guess but I haven't tried it

All I do use a towel to mess my hair up, let it air dry a bit while it being messy and it falls into wavy sections, right before it fully drys I use hair clay to make my hair stay in place keeping it wavy and adding lots of volume since I have fine hair

I have the hair precisely like him, what helps me is to put some argan oil when it is around 50% wet and comb my hair straight back. Then after that when is 100 % air dry, comb again straight back and put a hat for around 20 minutes and I get that wavy natural look.

You can achieve this style with a revlon dryer brush as well. But nice to see a way to do it without using heat

Try some curl defining cream or curling gel, and scrunch when your hair is wet/damp, then let it air dry if you want to see some waves, with your straight hair.

@@oyss9809Okay, before my hair was pin straight, but now it's wavy and curly, probably because it was always secretly wavy, I was just doing the wrong routine before. I don't use combs anymore, since they straighten and tangle my hair, so I usually use a hair brush. I also used to wash my hair everyday, which was bad for my hair, and made it straight, flat, and thin. I now only wash my hair 1-2 times a week, with shampoo and conditioner, but I will wet it in the shower everyday. When I come straight out of the shower, my hair is curly, but it is in my eyes, since it's long now. So, I will brush it back, and part it. I will then part my hair wherever, and start playing with it while scrunching my hair on each parted side. I will then put some oil or extra conditioner if it feels dry, and then apply some type of curling defining product, to each parted side. I usually use like a curl defining cream (any should work depending on your hair type), or I use some curl scrunching gel. I find cream works the best for me, since gel and mousse make my hair crunchy. Once my parted hair is styled with waves and curls, I'll just let it air dry, and it should be good. Every now and then I'll brush it and scrunch it if I want more volume, but that's about it. This is what I do, and it might not work for you, but I hope this helps! a thing I do is after letting it airdry or with a diffusor, add some selfmade sea salt spray onto my hair and massage it into it then it gets kinda the same waves ans yours

my hair is very wavy. I used to have some kinda straight, uncombed, shit hair until the age of 11. And I wanted to change it because everybody made fun of me and I too really didn't like my hair.
1) I kept olive oil 3 to 4 times a week, best works when you keep at night and wash it off the next morning.
2) I combed my hair every single freaking day, and washed my hair 4 to 5 times a week,
3) don't cut your hair frequently, I didn't cut my hair for many months and my hair got thicker and thicker . when it's thicker you get the best results.
Also, this took me 2 years to get everything perfect. I have long very wavy hair and during covid I got my best results and now In my family, I have the most sexiest hair, pretty sure some of my relatives are jealous of how I changed my hair.
