Stephanie got her start in Parades as a "glock girl" playing the glockenspiel along side the Santa float in the Fantasy on Parade in the mid 80s. I was a reindeer those same years. So I tell people "we've worked together" 🤣 She was to be the original Elphaba in "Wicked!" and performed in the test runs in San Francisco in the early 2000s. She was swapped out at the last minute by Idina Menzel who was Tony-nominated for her performance in "Rent" so the producers cast her when W came to Broadway. Stephanie won the Tony for her role in "The Cher Show" on Broadway in 2019. Long overdue recognition of her talent.
