Then I'm safe because the most adult mod I have is CBBE and that is for clothing mods mostly. If I want adult games then I have other much better games for that. Don't get me wrong Skyrim can be a good adult game but will never be the best adult game compared to games built for it from the ground up. I have tried adult mods for Skyrim in the past and most of the time the clipping just kills it for me or the horrible voice acting or the horrible fetishes that are just not my kink.

this mod reminds me of my first playthrrough of skyrim when i was like 9 and I remember getting vampirism because i refused to pray at any of the shrines because that would break one of the commandments.

That's taking things too literally.
"Don't be worshiping graven images." applies directly to you not worshiping graven images. You could theoretically write a story about a man who does worship graven images...or read about one without breaking the commandment.
You could argue that playing a game is somewhere between reading and writing a story.
In any case, I'd say that it's in the very least, a gray area, especially if you weren't RP-ing as yourself.
God might still get theoretically pissed at you for making a character that looks like you and proxy worshiping graven images through them, but otherwise it's fine.
In any case, I'm as christian as they get, but I really don't think the ten commandments are some ultimate "get out of Hell free" card. There's a lot more in that book about being moral than a ten point list.
In fact, if you do need the ten commandments, you are already a pretty crummy person. I, for one, don't need to be told not to steal or kill or fxxk the neighbor's wife. She ugly anyway.

They do give you a super sweet ability. you activate it and its just like the other spell of flying. but before you know it you're falling to your death. Wings just give your jump extra boost ^_^

2:00 you misunderstand Micky, the mod actually replaces some of the more revealing vanilla female outfits and underwear with the prisoner rags to be more "modest". The "immodesty" patch simply reverses this. That's right, a mod for Skyrim that actually REMOVES nudity (Of course the male versions aren't touched...)
The modesty feature also tends to conflict with other mods and make every female NPC look like a burn victim.

The lines from the Jesus NPC and the fact that he throws fish and bread makes me think this is a highly satirical mod.

If you want to know the "lore" behind this, the three sons of Anak (Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai) were giants who lived in the land of Canaan. Moses sent twelve spies (including Caleb) into the land to scout things out, and eventually drove them out. I'm not sure why Goliath is in here though. He's probably related to Anak, but he wasn't around at the time when the spies were doing their reconnaissance (or at least not mentioned). No idea what the chimaera cubs are about.
The inclusion of Damascus steel is also pretty funny, since it has absolutely nothing to do with the Bible. It was a type of steel forged from Wootz ingots that originated in India. Eventually the technology spread to Damascus through trade and the city formed an industry around producing weapons. It gained a legendary reputation when Europeans discovered it, because at the time their metallurgy wasn't as good.
Damascus -> Crusades -> Bible, would be my guess as to the steel's inclusion. Thanks for the lore explanation!

Most of the angels (angel literally meaning messenger) in the Bible are humanoid, with some passing for humans almost perfectly. The Archangel Michael, when he first appeared to Joshua at Jericho, was initially mistaken for a trespasser in the camp by the latter.

There are angels in the bible described as being many eyed wheels and others who have 7 wings and the head of an animal or a man. You can go find the bible verse that says that. The weird (weird to our mortal perceptions, at any rate) celestial creatures like the wheel orbs covered in eyes do exist, but they are in the minority. The most common angelological tradition classifies angels into nine distinct categories, with only three of those being non-humanoid.
@@RabbiHerschel yes but my point is that neither depiction of angels is entirely inconsistent with the bible. There are a lot of Christians who don't even know the concept of angels that are not humanoid. In at least a few cases, they've come to depict angels that are described in the bible as having a form far more humanoid than the bible says. Probably because keeping the old depictions of angels was impossible to explain to a modern audience, thus they changed it to be more appealing and less accurate. Though I've said before you can always make the argument about it being a metaphor, which in some circumstances is actually fairly likely. I don't remember where but I heard someone speculate that the many eyed wheels were a metaphor for God being able to see everything everywhere. I don't know how truthful that might be but it seems plausible. My personal opinion is that many of the angels are likely hallucinations. Their descriptions are not that far off from descriptions of the effects of psychedelics. And you don't need actual drugs for that to happen. Moldy bread, heat stroke, dehydration, and fever could potentially cause serious hallucinations. It's not unthinkable that whoever wrote that just had a particularly weird dream or was hallucinating

@@Earthenfist honestly I just say mythology. If you don't believe in it, it's mythology. Especially considering many christians today dont believe in the ancient creatures and myths that were once a part of the religion. And yeah there really is a lot of unexplored stories and options for Christian mythology. It's not explored very often and when it is, you usually couldn't tell it has any connection to Christianity. It would be fun to see stories about the leviathan or the really weird angels. Part of the problem is that a lot of the mythology that isn't angels comes from other religions. Demons were just an adaptation of other gods and spirits from other religions. The word was daemon, Greek for "spirit" and didn't mean good or evil. Just a spirit. Sucks too cause they changed other religions and myths in the process

Angels or, Angelos (άγγελος) in Greek is a masculine term and they reproduced with human women to make the nephilim. It doesn't really exclude them from the possibility of taking a woman's form for a task though even if it's not mentioned. However they don't really have a gender in the way humans experience gender and they can't reproduce with one another and aren't human.

My guess is that you were supposed to equip the blessed armor to defeat Anak. It probably has ridiculous defense or defense that provides immunity against anak. The horse was also probably intended to provide immunity as well.

@@mr.generico386 If you wanted to explore Christian ideas outside the religion it would be good! But personally I would be less interested in Christian ideals and more interested to see their themes of a singular God and angels and other myths explored though a different lens. Funnily anough I got Ultrakill just after commenting, and it's doing just that.
From what I remember back in my modding days, most mods can easily be ported to Special Edition by simply opening the mod in the Skyrim Construction Kit for SE, then saving the mod. By opening and saving the mod in the SE construction kit, it converts it to be used in Skyrim Special Edition. I believe this method worked for like 90% of most mods. A few larger mods would have some troubles with this method. iirc.

Sometimes they overlap, actually. The term mantling in TES comes from Elijah giving Elisha his cloak (mantle) and his role as prophet.

One of my favourite Mod combinations is still the Crusaders Knights - Medieval Armors Mod and Conquest of Skyrim
CKMA already adds 3 Knightly Order Churches in, but sometimes you just wanna conquer Skyrim for the Teutonic Order
They have lore-friendly options too though, with the Order of Akatosh and the Knights of the Nine, so any Holy Order takeover of Skyrim is possible there.

Micky D, you *have* to play the Morrowind mod called Morrowland. It's one of the worst mods ever made (and also, apparently, one of the largest). It's filled with enough spelling errors to embarrass a first grader. You can meet both God and Satan (the latter is a Dremora).
I recommend getting A Change of Face, it's a mod that opens the character creation screen but through a book and without the risk of resetting stats/progress.
Despite being somewhat of a Christian myself, I find a lot of overtly Christian creations extremely cringe, probably more than atheists do. It's like one of those friends or siblings that always manages to embarrass you in public. One problem is that the people that make this stuff take themselves WAY too seriously. It seems that if Jesus shows up in a game, either it's by someone making fun of religion and purposefully trying to push buttons or that it's a crazy bible thumper justifying said button pushing.
I'm able to transplant my religious role-playing to the Elder Scrolls universe well enough. The Knights of the Nine is so freaking awesome, you don't need to do this.

@@nicholasnino529 there is only mention of nephilim in the Bible once, in Genesis, and almost all mention of them was removed because they were a part of the gnostic stories and have little impact on the story of Jesus, and were thus removed during the Council of Nicea. So, the only people that ruminate on that stuff are baptists and other bastardized versions of mainline protestant.

Honestly this makes me want a half-lore accurate half-Christian lore mod where god wages a war against the Mannish races because human races (minus Redguards/Yokudans) are descended from an ancient race of giants from Atmora (note this is one theory and there is some evidence to suggest that humans may have originated from Tamriel, some colonized Atmora, and then came back). In the Bible, some Angels (“Watchers” I think) were tasked with keeping track of humanity. Some of them fell in love with humans and had children, which is a sin because angels aren’t supposed to love humans romantically, and those children were giants. Those kids were ultra powerful and also sinned a bunch.
I can see a cool story here, where Jesus declares war on all humans and the modern era giants because their ancestors were half-Angel half-human beasts.

Funny thing, when you said the name of the mod something went off in my prior christian evangelism brain. Tombs of Anak is also a christian children's book, one of a series, by Frank Peretti. Just found that to be a pretty interesting little tidbit.

Like...I gotta say this mod has more quality than pretty much every Christian video game I've ever seen.
Christianity has an amazing scope for video gaming. Think about it: Doom, Devil May Cry, Diablo, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders, Painkiller, etc. I would never say no to Christianity-themed Elder Scrolls game
I think a concept like this mod has great potential. Just tone down some of the direct preaching-to-the-player excess, some of it is tonally great though. All the biblical themed monsters/angels/demons/entities, places, and events. Christianity is a treasure trove of great content, Greek/Roman mythology as well has been gold too.

welp, at the character Re/creation part and...it's already mysogynist. Expected it to last longer. And if they're going for the 'angels are genderless' angle, then go all in and make them truely androgynous. or at least a base of androgyny, with the ability to make them more feminine or masculine with the attribute sliders

The Children of Anak were a reference to the giants in the Promised Land in the Old Testament, whom some theorize were related to Giants before Noah's flood (Nephilim).
There was a funny meme about how Jesus would be a dragon born. Him talking with the scribes and pharisees was speechcraft, healing the sick was restoration, raising Lazarus from the dead was conjuration, his transfiguration was destruction, and him chasing people out of the temple with a whip was 1 handed. Oh yeah, changing water to wine was alteration.
I read a book about the Nephilim, called Genesis 6 giants. It talked about allusions to the Nephilim in the Bible, in books deleted from the Bible, but also parallels in other mythology as well. The 2 that stuck out to me were the 7 foot Egyptian that had extra digits on his hand and the other alluded to "Lion like men." This could mean they were hairy, fierce, or brave....buuuuut if it means fighting a giant, middle eastern sabre tooth looking character, well that spices things up.
I think there were bible verses about some Nephilim getting hit by hornets. If you read the book of Enoch, it goes into detail about how the ghosts of the giants would become a problem after they died, being forever hungry and at odds with women.

@@roozbeh6999 there’s two types that look like what we’d call monsters and then any angel with the title angel looks like us or at least appears like us when they come to humans most notable being the arch angel Michael who defeated satan and cast him out of heaven into earth

And from what I understand the monster one most know is a low rank they’re messenger angels it’s why most say be not afraid when they’re seen in the Bible when Michael was seen by a human the human got on their knees and tried to worship him thinking he was God Michael responded with do not worship me I am not God. @@lilblock3564 You do realize that The Old Testament is still a part of Biblical Canon, eh? And if you're one of those cherry picking types of religious folks, The Heavenly Order is mentioned multiple times in The New Testament, of which each of those angels (and more female angels.) are a part of.
Further, God is referenced in the original Hebrew Translation of the Bible as a She, when donning the name "Elohim" (One of the 72 names of God). However, other names of God also reference God as "He"
@@Anonymous0C If you studied all of this you should know that none of these angels are mentioned in the old testament, they are mentioned in the Talmud which is not even close to being Christian. Many Jews don`t even take the Talmud seriously. There is not a single female angel mentioned in the Christian bible.
@@lilblock3564 In the English translation, sure. In the original Hebrew translation of The Old Testament there were multiple instances of female Angel's making an appearance. When it was bastardized into English, as well as other European languages that were predominantly patriarchal in their caste/societal system, that's when we begin to see any sign of feminine strength removed for the work.

Angels are gender neutral beings, though they tend to be portrayed as males, but there is one well known female angel. The person who made that mod needs to go back and look up Jophiel.... and there are arch angels that sometimes appear as female, even though they tend to be males.... like the majority of my Skyrim builts. 😅
BTW, this mod is the best. Jesus is out here killing wolves, mammoths, giants, bandits and vampires by throwing bread at them.
Not for nothing, but this is actually the best Christian game ever. It's done right in many aspects. We need more Christian mods in every violent game. I want to see this type of mod for GTA. However, I want to see realistically depictions of actual angels. GTA gamers can handle that.
I mean if you want a real insane journey, I'd recommend playing through Morrowland: From Heaven to Hell. It takes a bit to get it working but I can personally attest to its sheer... well, it's unique to say the least.

The King James Bible is the most widely used bible in America so that's why he used that version. Euros use modern translations that have removed entire verses from the bible. That's why Americans don't use those.
