@@mikerasmussen7993 Thanks Mike! I believe the sliders are the best form of insurance on the trails? Those XMT's are knobby cool 😎. How is the road noise with those tires?
@@RoamBearded waiting to put 6 inch lift on next month to fit um under the old gal so I'm not sure yet. For now all I can do is salivate all over um.now I got the tube sliders, tube high clearance front bumper with 12k winch mounted on it. Next is the 6 inch lift and 37"tires 🤠🤘💪🐏🐏🐏🌅
I really like it, easy to install, lightweight and has held up well over the past few years. I have read that some people have tweaked theirs a little during some recoveries. The tow points don't line up with the frame mounts causing it to pull a little funny. I haven't had that issue but I haven't had a hardcore recovery yet. Just something to keep in mind depending on your style of travel.
No spacers needed. I just did the Icon Dynamics duel rate springs and Hellwig sway bar to help with the constant load. Certainly made a difference in handling and eliminated the sag.
Just got a 2016 ram 1500 tradesman v6. I want to lift it and put offroad tires on it so it's safer and easier for when I do go offroad or so I can take on more challenging roads but this shit is pricy af
Yes...yes it is. And the maintenance of all the parts that wear out prematurely because of the lift and tires add up too. Quite honestly if I were to do it all again I'd just invest in a Power Wagon or 2500 Rebel and not mess with the geometry.
AWESOME BUILD. I am in the middle of my Ram overland build and it is nice to see others a full size pickup for overlanding.
Thank you! Love seeing them full-size builds and hope yours goes smoothly.
Same here ! In the process awesome video
Thank you and good luck with your build!

Sounds like a killer setup in the works. I dig it!
Hey! Great video. How have you like the ICON’s in the rear?
The Icons are fantastic! No more squat in the rear and still rides nice. Highly recommended!
@@RoamBearded I put them on Friday and couldn’t agree more. Truck rides better on and off road and looks much better!
@@koskiduane Awesome! Glad they worked out for you!!
Great video! Question, do you have the 5'7" bed? Thanks!
Thank you! I have the 6'4" bed.
Great video! What is the offset and width on your wheels?
Thanks you! They are 9" wide with a 12mm offset.
How do you like the Chassis Unlimited Bumper? Ive been looking at upgrading mine soon?

With your will entire setup did you have to put on spacers?

Diesel is a must I'm just saying
@@gregruby6918 That's a great option to have. With a diesel's lower payload the shell type campers are great!
